Got invited to the flight, got 2 emails and no -Yoinking!- link to download it, not avaiable in my profile and never got the message. I’m sick of wasting time with this, signed out of the insider and just added the game to my ignore list and from now on I dont want to anything about Halo anymore. Not about the franchise itself, i love those past games but I wont be buying this one for sure. Thank you 343i.

If you opted for Xbox, then it doesn’t give you a link to download the tech demo. For PC, I believe you have to go your Halo Insider section, scroll down to the bottom, and then there’ll be a code. I’ve only done the one for Xbox though, and the information about PC is purely based on my understanding from what I’ve seen others say.

For Xbox, you have to install the Xbox Insider app, and Halo Infinite will be in the Previews section of the app. The instructions should have been sent through the Waypoint message service, but you say that hasn’t been the case…If you are on Xbox, I can try and help more, if you wish.

I find your lack of patience disturbing, they are rolling out a flight and your upset because you can’t access it on the first day. I know this may come as a surprise but there are hundreds of people with the same issue you have and they are willing to wait while 343i gets things straightened out. But it’s your loss, I find the flight very enjoyable so far.

It’s a 3 day flight. They have already missed almost 1.5 days and have not communicated anywhere near enough to those still having issues. Like you said 100s are having issues especially in oc.and they haven’t told us anything about what’s happening. As far as a flight this is the worst they have launched since MCC came to pc. And I’ve been involved in most of them.im very surprised with the issues and lack of communication, given how well it usually is on MCC. I probably won’t even bother with this flight now.

It’s a flight. We’re not paying customers, they’re not expected to make everything right for us. This whole thing is to help development. If you’re too impatient, leave. It’s going to be bumpy. The whole reason we’re playing is to flatten the bumps. It’s fun, yes, but it’s mainly for us loyal fans to help make sure the ACTUAL launch is smooth. If you’re just here to play Halo Infinite early, you’re here for the wrong reason.

Crashes for me and other people. Not whining… This is something that will be fixed and it’s why we are testing. The more problems 343 finds and fixes, The better the product will be on release…

I’ve had 4 emails and 4 waypoint notifications to say I have an invitation to the flight but yet can’t actually get access. I don’t care if it’s free or not. If a company say you are getting something repeatedly you should get it. And you should get it when they say, not over 2 days later a minimum, and with no actual communication after the 8 messages to say you have access. It’s awful PR and customer service, whether that’s a paying customer or a customer you have asked to trial/test something.

when I log into Halo infinite appears your account is not authorized to play Halo infinite? what’s the point of this if when I enter the Xbox Hub insider app it appears that I’m participating. 12 hours ago I made a tickets so far they didn’t respond, I sent a message on twitter also didn’t respond because they ask to make tickets if they’re useless?

I think you’re focusing on the wrong thing here. The complaint isn’t about the state of the game, the complaint is the way 343i is literally ignoring the fact that 75% of the posts on these forums and replies on on Twitter since the start of this flight are about the exact same issue, and they’ve given 0 answers on what’s going on about it. We don’t know if they’re fixing it, or focusing on the game. If we should keep checking and expect a code or if we’re S.O.L. we have literally no idea, but they’re constantly posting and updating on social media. The only post they made was saying to submit a ticket if we got the wrong invite, and my ticket is now 12 hours old with no replies. I expect a beta, let alone an ALPHA to have issues, but I also expect some form of communication from a multi-million dollar company when there’s clearly a problem that needs to be addressed.
