I’m concerned there was no mention of additional ranked playlists even though there is almost definitely a ranked FFA in the pipeline, hoping that doesn’t mean it will be pushed back. It is disheartening that most the updates are coming via leakers and the hype train seems to
continually be running dry in an official capacity.
Yea, it didn’t seem to really detail anything about changes like mode and weapon balance. I appreciated it, but that all kinda sounds like it works essentially the same as H5.
They addressed how parties CSR gets a boost to represent the advantage of being in a fireteam. I don’t honestly like the approach of just matching against slightly harder opponents being the balance mechanism. I don’t think it works as well or is as enjoyable as not matching parties against solos. At least the solo/duo playlist solves this somewhat i guess.
I’m pumped they’re looking at bringing back the Champion ranks though. It was always kinda cool seeing when one matched in your lobby in H5
