Thank you for giving bad kids the ability to win by using non skilled weapons like bolt shot and hydra. People not dying when one shot. I’ve hit onyx multiple times and I stI’ll think the game sucks. Man. So much edginess here. Look OP, I get where you’re coming from. Spawnkilling has always been awful no matter what game you’re playing, as is lag. But blaming 343 for ‘no skill’ weapons? Look, we’ve had similarly ‘no skill’ weapons like the needler since '01, 343’s made many mistakes but that’s not something that started with them. Hell, I remember back in halo 3 I knew some guys who would declare damn near every power weapon but the sniper and beam as ‘no skill guns’. They spent most of their time in swat.

No, but it’s certainly not new to Halo 5.
Halo’s competitive. And that’s frustrating when you lose. Halo 2 could be the most frustrating for me. Get my -Yoink- kicked and blame everything from lag to netcode to bungie to randos to my opponent’s mother to all of the above. just relax and take a breather.
Funny thing is, I’d blame the “lousy netcode”, especially in Halo 3, because I heard other people say it. Still not even sure what the hell that is. lol

All 343 did is pick up where Bungie left off with Reach… armor abilities, long grind for xp, team based campaign with crappy friendly AI… H5 has quite a bit in common with what Bungie last did with Halo.

So what your saying is that if your in their position, you want to win, you want to beat the enemy team (which I believe is the goal of any competitive game last I checked), and you just so happen to have a sword or a shotgun or a hammer or god forbid a very slow and very easy to beat boltshot. You would not under any circumstances spawn kill the enemy either intentionally or not? Your going to mess up your teams chance to win because your worried the other guys gunna get upset? If you say no then your just lying to yourself we’ve all done it dude and what goes around comes around in the end. You had a few bad games suck it up like the rest of us and find a way to not get into the situation again.
P.S. it would have happened with bungie too, it probably would have been worse. And while we are on the subject I don’t think bungie can really sue anyone right now.

Reach wasn’t really a team based campaign,npc’s regardless if they are spartans does not make it team oriented

Plus seeing the Direction halo was going between halo: CE to Reach, then you look how Destiny is for it continues to follow the path honestly.
Bungie would have reached Halo 4 and 5 level of gameplay for the Halo Series eventually. Just 343I decided to take a giant leap over the small jumps Bungie was doing.
Why does everything have to be about “skill this” and “skill that”? Power weapons are power weapons for a reason, they’re supposed to be used to get easy kills.
I’ve been a fan since Halo 3, and I absolutely love Halo 5. I’d say it’s the best one since Halo 3.

Given the drop in population for both Halo Reach and more so in Halo 4, the community wouldn’t have based the continuation of the franchise on Halo Reach either. (also the extremely positive reaction to the first gameplay gif of Halo 4 that showed the gameplay to be more like Halo 3 and less like Halo Reach is further proof)
ODST and Reach were spin offs. The community and Bungie treated them as such. 343i should have done the same.

You aren’t helping 343 here…you are highlighting their stupidity as they “continued” from a SPIN OFF game. They should have “picked up” from Halo 3.
Much like Gears of war 4 continues the style of Gears of war 3, not Judgement.

And Gears 4 actually takes cues from the original Gears as well. Like being 2 player co-op.
So while they have added in modern features like Micros and no DLC segregation for the MM community. The game itself looked at the more successful aspects of the entire franchise instead of The Coalition just assuming that the most recent game was a better indicator of what the franchise is.
There’s a huge difference between The Coalition and 343i. Despite both being MS owned studios working on AAA Xbox exclusives that were created by another studio.

Your team didn’t get set up properly, other team controlled your spawn. That’s the price you pay for not taking map control. Get over it.
