Just a little message for 343 going against the trend of hating on the game:
I’ve spent the last few hours watching videos of Halo 4 on YouTube and eventually (inevitably) came to one showing the scene in which Cortana “dies”. I looked through the comments and was amazed to see the amount of people complaining that 343 killed her off. I’ve been an avid player and fan of Halo for many years and when I reached this scene in the game I was sad to see her go but thought it was the PERFECT ending. It showed that even people like the Chief and Cortana are mortal. Cortana could have kept living forever but I think the community as a whole would have hated that even more. I think the way Halo 4 ended shows that 343 are not afraid to take risks like this to make for better story and gameplay. I have barely put Halo 4 down since I got it and reached SR-130 just before Christmas. I’m so happy that Halo has been put into the capable hands of a company that understands the franchise so well and am eagerly anticipating the rest of the Reclaimer trilogy. Like I said Halo 4 showed that the Chief is human and not just a machine and I for one hope this is explored to great lengths in the games and years to come. Thank you to everyone at 343 industries for keeping Halo alive.
I really can’t resist, they should have just killed the master chief and halo 5 we could have played as cortana in a Tron style game with perks and ultra-combos while planting flowers to form cute geometric patterns. It’d be as much like Halo as H4.

Please guys cortana fate was desice by 343i and as you see, they want to kill evry classic character because the reclaimer trilogy maybe is the end of the halo franchise but noboby knows may another halos will come
There are some interesting ideas in there, but tbh I’m not sure I want Cortana back, she had a heroic, final death and coming back from that would just seem a bit cheap to me, just my opinion.

They can turn humans and Forerunners into machines with the composer, but the Librarian stated that every attempt to turn the machines back into organic being resulted in the creation of monstrosities. If they couldn’t do it before, how would they do it now, especially since all the Forerunners, aside from the Didact, and the composer are gone?
Simply put. I’m quite glad she is going to be gone for at least half a game to the rest of the series. I was never a Cortana fan when it came to the game. Sure I liked her a bit… but I literally just wanted Chief to man up and just let her go. -.-;; If she comes back then I’ll just play the game like I did the others. I’ll still not like her most likely. I think 3 ruined her for me. -.-
