This has been very helpful. I lowered the inner dead zone setting for the Halo 5 Master Chief controller to 0%. I get no drifting. And now the right stick is so much more responsive. Before small movements of the right stick did nothing.
The outer dead zone I can’t tell a huge difference. I keep look sensitivity at 4. And for now I’m leaving look acceleration at 3.
I have 0% on both settings.
Feels way better.
I think i just adjusted it to like 9%. I have messed up tendons in my right thumb and as I get older the thumb joint becomes worse and worse. it sucks.

Yea, it doesnt hurt but my movement is choppy in it.
it does hurt when I put pressure on it. You know the car doors that you push a button with your thumb to open it instead of pulling on the handle. I can’t do that with my right hand because my thumb comes out of the bottom joint, and it hurts like hell when that happens. then it swells uncontrollably
Wait did I miss something? Are dead zones now adjustable via the in-game settings menu?
