Thank you 343i!!!

Ok now before you make fun of me for saying “Thank you 343i!!!” let me explain myself.

When Halo 4 came out everyone loved, period. But as time went on between the and now everyone pretty much hated it and got rid of it or stopped playing it. I ayself had stopped playing it because it did not find it “fun” anymore.

But recently (past week or so) the game has gotten significantly better. 1: balanced weapons 2: better playlists 3: a ranking system.

The dmr at launch was WAY over powered. Recently they have buffed almost every weapon to compete with the dmr. Personally I now use pretty much only the Assault Rifle as it really is (imo) better than the other weapons and is very underrated. The game flow is better because of meaning you are not getting “bullied” by a guy with a dmr you can actually defend yourself.

Team snipers, team doubles, rumble pit, griffball, team throwdown. New playlists that are fun a innovating, for instance griffball is crazy but it is “fun”. Team throwdown takes “skill” and is also “fun”. Brought back the classic Team Snipers, I think that one is self explanatory. What I am saying is that these playlists are overall “awesome” and they make the game more fun.

They brought to us CSR 50, now I understand that some people don’t particularly like this system because it is not “in game” but in my opinion this ranking system really has made the game better and more “fun” ( back to the roots of halo(such as competitiveness). Meaning that this ranking system has brought back the skill level part of the game. You no longer if you are a level 32 (such as me) go against a level 130 and get absolutely mauled. You are matched within (this is what i found) a 15 level difference max say you are level 30 you may be matched with 15 to 45 level players possible some times slightly higher or lower. This has made the game so much better because it brings back competitiveness. You will never really have a breakout “BEAST” game but never really have a breakout “FAIL” game. Your kd may be around 500 maybe a little better or worse but never “AWESOME” or “HORRIBLE”. This makes for a fun game because the games are always close and you can always pull out a win or loss. Some may argue, “THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN” but honestly here is why you may think this way. The halo 4 community is small now meaning there is really only around 30,000 people online tops and thats a good day. There is not enough people online to match “everyone” up perfectly so until more and more people decide to give Halo 4 another chance and at least try it and like it again the system may seem a little “broken”. As far as the “in game” problem people don’t like to be honest I don’t care so much for the statistics as much as I care about gameplay and that is what the CSR 50 has done made better gameplay.

Recently I have seen a lot of good things happen to Halo 4 and I honestly think it can make a comeback. Today around right now there is close to 40,000 people online. That is more than usual so this means that people might be possibly coming back to check Halo 4 out again. Good possibilities with this one.

New videos on youtube with hope for Halo 4 and people actually starting to like the game now. I am one of those people. Lots a promise for Halo 5 (imo).

So personally if a member of 343i reads this I just want to say thank you for trying to listen and make the game better because you actually are making it better and more enjoyable.

I will be posting another thread later talking about how Halo 4 can be fixed with the continuation of 343i’s cooperation with the community.

This made me a good laugh, you know the weapons haven’t been buffed yet right?..
But it’s fine forget I told you that, just keep imagining until June 3rd.

Ok…um well…uhh. lol I guess not I watched a few videos on youtube talking about this subject so I kinda figured that they were. But as I said I just only starting playing it again the past week lol

I put hope into 343, yeah this game isn’t perfect but I enjoy the heck out of it ^^

Same here.

This game is really coming into its own groove. With all recent additions such as maps, csr, sandbox tuning and more i have renewed excitement for halo 4. Its really fun and i cant wait for the wapin update in a few weeks

Too bad the population continues to decline

Good post OP! Though weapon balances aren’t implemented yet lol, but soon. I feel the same, even though the game isn’t perfect, it isn’t as bad as a lot of people make it out to be! It’s nice to see some positive posts for a change!

If it isn’t bad as people make it out to be, then why is the population disgustingly low and continuing to drop?

Even though I’m still ticked at 343i for numerous reasons and Microsoft for rushing Halo 3, Reach, and Halo 4, I must admit, they are beginning to earn back my trust, but only a tiny bit.

TL;DR thanks for trying.

If no one seems to be listening to you why are you posting that same statement on multiple threads? I’m just saying.

OT: Yeah the multiplayer is becoming more competitive, imo it was never bad just not amazing. I’ve been able to play it up until this day

Umm…no. Its not until June.

Also I do agree with the DECENT job that 343 is doing to make and fix the game…but their process is too slow. With 6 months they could have done much much more.

What they should focus mostly on now is giving us a bad @$$ Halo 5 game.

I can not wait for June 3rd. 4 Shot BR.

Yes I do realize my mistake lol.

Have you been sleeping or something? weapons are not balanced yet. playlists is the same and i do not call that a ranking system it fails in every way possible

Thanks a lot! Its really nice to see that some people aren’t as “hatred” to Halo 4 as others lol

As I have stated for the 3RD TIME I understand my mistake about the weapon balancing I had not played Halo for a month and am just now starting to play it again. Ok? I realize my mistake can we just forget about it really is not a big deal now that it has been rectified. Same thing goes for the playlists I had not played for a while. And like I said at the end of my post some may argue “THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN” but if you really think about what I said you’ll understand that it is not that bad. Not saying it is perfect but not bad at all. better than before.

Same here I personally like the BR better (mainly because it is classic) but it is so underpowered compared to the dmr you are almost guaranteed to loose that gunfight. Thats why I switched to the Assault Rifle.
