Thank you, 343. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I was just pointing it out, the person I was replying to may not have read the entire topic.

I stopped reading right here^

It’s very unwise to judge anyone on the net that you personally don’t know. For a first-time poster, you showed you took what was an opinion and nothing more way too personal. it looks like you have issues, sort them out before making a reply to anyone :+1:

Just a friendly note put a space or whole line between your responce after the [/Quote] tag, Forum is weird like that…

I understand your view better now, and apologies for the quick judgement
but while there are ‘a hell of a lot of problems’ there’s also a hell of a lot of awesome that should have more appreciation

Halo Infinite was built around listening to the community so disagree that 343 do not listen
(Perhaps with all the hate thrown towards this aspect of their processes and endeavours maybe they don’t want to listen - I joke)

Thank you for the reply, this is something I can work with.

It doesn’t matter what forum anyone is on because there will always be players that don’t like certain things about any game, and if some things are changed way too much as this game has that mainly only benefits the company It doesn’t sit well with a lot of players.

For example, 343/Microsoft literally stripped the game from what the game used to offer the players to sell in pieces through the shop/battle pass. IMO I agree that the players that are pissed off have a right to be because 343 made a lot of promises over 7 years and they didn’t back up their own words. This is the worst thing that has ever happened to Halo in Halo history, in spite of the excuses the higher-ups in 343 give for their actions.

Yes, I agree that how things are presented matters, but we can only control our own actions. In reality, what others do is out of our hands so either ignore it or take what does apply to you and work from there. Just know not everything posted is out of “hatred”. It’s just some only know how to post or reply in certain ways to release that frustration.

I wouldn’t say it’s on par with 3, but only because SBMM is social, sub par arsenal, and mandatory crossplay/ input.

Definitely something that can be fixed in time, but that’s like saying water is wet.

6 years and 300 people to get movement and gunplay right. To implement a grapple hook just like already seen in other games. And an awesome score and sounddesign. That’s pretty much it combined with a mediocre and boring campaign, no real iconic missions and a MP that plays well but has it flaws.

So yes… THANK YOU 343. You are among the prime of game developers.

Because: you could have released something like halo 4 again…

I meant “they have earned it” referring to the original post saying that they’ve earned a break for a while.

positive post yay

Yeah I was gonna say what’s up with that. I couldn’t play for a whole hour this morning because it kept telling me to sign in the owner of the game. ITS FREE TO PLAY why are there so many online safeguards? Plus I do own it yet the DRM thinks i don’t. Microsoft totally backed away from DRM policy in 2013 yet here’s 343 resurrecting the ultimate anti gamer policy. Not allowed to share, play your own game freely, cannot enjoy offline. Really has the player in mind with this system they purposefully implemented

Can I play offline campaign if I have disk?

No, the disk has no game info. The disk is simply a key to show you own the game. It’s a DRM locked disk

What…the….actual……-yoink-

Welcome to 2013 pre xbox one again. Remember when they said you cannot bring your game to your friends house and play on their Xbox because of their DRM policy? Yeah Microsoft dropped that due to backlash but 343 thought it sounded super epic to implement into a F2P game that has no reason to be there…cuz its fuccin free

This is just a rumor. It happens with other games, but Halo Infinite actually comes on the disc. However, you have to go online to play it. Here’s General Heed’s video on it: /watch?v=cpNB4BnWIA0

Can you get a free month of game pass?

Not being arrogant, I hope it doesn’t come across that way but genuinely curious as to why you even play offline anyway? In todays world almost all devices are connected to the internet at all times and if you are playing on console the data usage on your home interent plan for a day of Halo is extremely low.

Just curious, why do you wish to play offline?

Keep ignoring what we are saying as if it will change anything. THE POINT IS, THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENNED. No amount of praising them for mediocrity will change that fact, neither will mutiong and silencing posts that happen so often on these forums. “Be patient” We have waited over 6 years for a Halo title, just to have it launch in less than beta specifications.

While there is quite a few issues with the game, I’ve quite enjoyed it and have been so happy to have a new Halo game in my library. If nothing else, they made a great base for future work/updates in my opinion and I’m excited to see what they may be. Firefight of course, but I would love another multiplayer co-op-like campaign like Spartan Ops as what I thought was potentially teased in the Tutorial.

The community engagement and communication that has gone on with the flights and shortly after release has been encouraging, as opposed to quite a few other developers who make it quite clear that they no longer know what the identity of their game is anymore (BF:2042 for me). That alone could lead to a lot of promise going forward and I’ll be happy to see how it goes.
