Amongst all the backlash and rage in the community at the moment, I think we should take a second to appreciate 343 for what they have made. At its core, halo infinites gameplay is one of the best we’ve ever seen and on par with halo 3 (in my opinion). They have truly created a masterpiece. After all the development hell and immense effort, I thank you, 343, for what you have produced. Yes there are problems that need to be ironed out that can easily be fixed, but the best part is, is that THEY ARE LISTENING. Problems will be fixed in time. But for the meantime: developers, enjoy the Christmas break because you have earned it.
Well if you can speak for yourself and not the community, then that’s a totally acceptable sentiment.
But you don’t speak for anyone but yourself my guy, that’s just a fact even if I do agree with your sentiment. Just gotta be fair.
from my perspective though the fact they’ve made it impossible to play offline until you validate your purchase every 24hours or every time when you turn the machine on, means it’s hard to see that as a positive move. I can’t personally thank them for that. We don’t know the state of the authentication system many years from now so potentially another dead game. It’s hard to sing 343’s praises for that
Correction, there is a hell of a lot of problems in infinite, and you would be wrong thinking most of them can easily be fixed. Just the campaign alone has way too many issues that it would need an overhaul just to fix its issues and we all know that will never happen.
To what? problems they deliberately created and because of the backlash you think making small adjuments to what should have taken place in the first place is “listening”? See, I like to look at reality to what actually has taken place and whether you agree with this or not. How the game was designed was planed, there was no “mistake” in how they launched this game.
So far 343 has shown over the years that they are all about talk, but their actions have literally shown otherwise to what was to be expected when the game launched.
You mean when they feel like it and that is even if they do.
Do speak for yourself and not offend everyone, acting like you speak for all of us… the game is stilly buggy, netcode still needs fixing, the shop is stil horrible ,prices are still too high, and Even the HCS shows the bugginess of this game i’m surprized they even let this game play considering how much netcode issues there are dropping players and stuff.
Do I thank the part of 343 that obviously put care and attention into what was actually released? Or am I also thanking the part of 343 that probably didn’t hire the latter part as full time workers and passed them out the door after their contract was up, took what they made and implemented it in an almost broken and featureless fashion with monetization stapled onto it?
sorry i had to have 15 letters in the title, otherwise i wouldve left the last bit out
I’m going to praise the praiseworthy great aspects, and criticize the shortcomings and problems. There are plenty of both.
No worries guy, had to poke my nose in with my two cents.
You can keep it the way it was my guy, I’m just being nosy.
On par with Halo 3.
Halo 3 doesn’t have Sprint
You can’t make this up.
It’s an opinion, you’ve got plenty of experience with making up opinions.
Dude has an opinion, an opinion he’s not even trying to pass off as an objective fact (unlike how some specific unnamed people actually do here). He likes it like he liked Halo 3, that’s all he’s saying. There’s no argument to be had, and you’re forcing an argument.
Go bait somewhere else. I’m not feeding your replies any further, nor should anyone for that matter.
It’s still baffling regardless of how you spin it. The rose tinted glasses are THICK
Should I get the game now or wait a while longer for changes?
The only big problem I’ve heard anyone concerned about is the cosmetics unlocking system.
To me if that’s the biggest problem then everything is running smoothly if you ask me
I agree there are bad bugs.
With my experience with the game, what they have so far has out weighed the bugs I’ve dealt with
I’m just glad they’re going to work on all this
Agree. The game is awesome, and you can’t change my mind.
Speak for yourself LOL Halo is at 20% of what it should be right now.
I agree , the people unhappy at the moment are people who think halo 5 and his op magnum is halo while its not… or people angry for armure.
I loved halo 3, and look back on it with fond memories.
But it feels so slow now when I play it on mcc
I love the faster pace and movement of the modern halos.
Infinite is amazing but I’m very glad they’re making quick responses and improvements so early after launch. They know the launch state was not good enough in terms of bugged challenges and playlist offerings. It’s only going to get better and better.
I do like this game, and thank 343 too, but for the time they had to develop it, it seems like a lot of stuff is missing that should not be missing. Coop, Forge, working theater, and I’m cutting this list short.
I’d expect forge to have a terrain editor since it has been delayed so much. What could be different from H5 forge?
I’ve read that they rewrote the graphics engine, but I doubt it took 6 years to do so. I’d love to see what was that 2/3 of content that they cut, TBH I think they did this to prolong this games life.
All of past Halos have had way more maps in them, launched with coop and forge, and no big bugs like MCC had (At least not in gameplay). Infinite is riddled with syncing and connection bugs, crashes, and BTB not working still lol, they will wait after the holidays to fix it. like man, this first month is the most important time for the game, first impressions matter
And let’s not talk about the shop and battle pass progression lol
Seems like bad producers/project management to me
Exactly KingyBRFC! I am loving the campaign and people complaining probably complain about everything. Who cares about all the things like forge? I am willing to bet people who are complaining it doesn’t have it never or rarely used it. I am so glad we got a good campaign… which, btw, I enjoyed 5 as well.
