I would like to start off by saying thank you 343 for listening to the competitive community, and allowing us to take off bloom. I have been a competitive player since CE and have put countless hours into the series. Whether it was Lan parties for CE or Gamebattles tournaments for Halo 2, I loved the competitive balance in both Halo CE and Halo 2. I had to take a break from playing Reach because I couldn’t stand the luck based DMR battles. Anyway, after some time with no bloom I really felt like I was playing Halo again. This is how Halo was always meant to be played.
To be honest, I have never been a fan of AA’s either, but they don’t even bother me anymore now that my shots finally register. I do have one minor gripe, however, I think the pistol’s rate of fire may be a bit to fast. But hell, I’m so excited to pour countless hours into this that I could really care less.
So to rap this up I’d like to give a BIG THANK YOU to 343 for making Reach feel like Halo again. And thank you for listening to the fans.
Ryan
Yes, thank you 343! Thank you for being Lazy and instead of actually full out improving bloom, you just get rid of it entirely! Yes! Thank you for making the DMR and Pistol Over Powered.
Clearly you listen to us unlike Bungie! Even though Bungie updated and gave us we wanted every month for 10 whole months! Clearly Bungie didn’t listen.
Apparently, you have never played CE or Halo 2 if you feel this is overpowered. If you say you did play Halo CE, you would know that the pistol was a 3 shot kill, but you are probably far to young to know this. Anyway, “bungie” never once brought us an update for Halo Reach; they updated playlists and firefight, but never actually altered gameplay.
Further more, if this is game breaking to you then the rest of the “balanced” playlists, are still there calling your name. Or you can actually try to practice and get better, but then again that might be to much work.
