Thank you 343

I just want to express how thankful I am that you guys have opted to prioritize quality for Halo Infinite. Thats an uncommon mindset amongst game studios right now and it has caused a huge decline in the number of quality games available. As excited as many of us are about Halo Infinite, I think we will be more than happy to wait however long it takes to make sure its a smooth, well developed, fine tuned, and complete experience.
I imagine those frustrated about the delay would’ve been far more frustrated with an incomplete unpolished product. I think it’s worth the wait.
Again, thank you for being satisfied with nothing less than excellence. Im hopeful other studios and publishers will follow suit in the future.

im all for voicing our opinions, but if you honestly think thats “nothing less than excellence” you havent played any good games

Pretty naive to think 343 is the hero in this story. The most probably thing is that 343 missed milestone after milestone and didn’t tell MS the truth… until it was too late and MS had to pull the plug.

I’m grateful they didn’t launch an unfinished game, Halo deserves better. 343 is not perfect, and they aren’t free of criticism, but from what I’ve seen in recent years they are listening and trying to do better. They are passionate people working hard to create a game that will leave a mark. I’m optimistic about Infinite and 343, but I also understand and respect if some fans don’t share the same feeling due to past failures.

Im glad it was delayed

It’s funny how they actually started out good with the series during Reach when they removed bloom and loadouts from ranked matches.

Not only for halo infinite, for everything, since always they are trying to do the best for halo even when sometimes it does not look like

Agreed, I only had two complaints personally. First, the art style change from 343, but that’s something I was eventually able to somewhat be okey with. My only real issue was that Halo 5 was such a downgrade and so lacking from Halo 4 in my honest opinion. Honestly I think 343 has done a decent job. Just sad they didn’t pay to much attention to the community back then like the are now.

Honestly, despite the underwhelming reveal I am extremely in love with Infinite so far. The few graphical errours are concerning, but they’ve acknowleged this. Hell, they delayed the game because of it. People should realize we’ve had little to no info on Multiplayer, Forge, Theatre, Customs Browser, Spartan Customization, the new open world aspect, or even this supposodley leaked Battle Royale mode. That is a MONSTROUS chunk of the game we don’t know about. Regardless of whether some or all will be included. I think everyone should just relax a bit.

Now, I do think we deserve some new info, but they’ve already comfirmed we will be at least seeing multiplayer and possibly customization by release. People are also forgetting that Mega Construx and Nerf are releasing their items still on time and Monster Energy is still keeping their Double XP event for Infinite starting September. And to top it off, the Halo Infinite Art Book is still set to release on December 29th. If anything that will be an enourmous info drop on it’s own. I’ll be honestly shocked if we don’t get some kind of huge info drop from 343 in the next two months. Regardless of the delay.

I am glad that both 343 Industries and Microsoft are making a right decision to delay Halo Infinite to 2021. This can give them more time to finish doing the animations, visual effects and gameplay in Halo Infinite.

So the game has not come out yet, but that will not stop you from bringing out the “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED” banner/speech.

Its easy to speculate but all we can do is give the benefit of the doubt which states that theyre telling the truth. It wont be on par quality wise with their own expectations if its released this year. Theyre being practical and unwilling to publish an unfinished work, which I respect.

I can only assume the finished product will be excellent based on their decision to work on the game over a longer period of time. Additionally, 343 has done an unusually good job of listening to fans over the last couple of years which is further evidence that, when compared to Halo 4 and 5, this game will be excellent. Im hopeful. I could be disappointed upon release but 343 is gaining more and more of my confidence lately.

Why would we?
343 lied on Halo 4
343 lied on the MCC
343 lied on H5G
Based on past experience, there is no reason to believe that they are telling the truth this time.
That’s what you get for crying wolf one too many times…

*’‘It wont be on par quality wise with their own expectations if its released this year’’*They delayed the game after almost everybody thought the demo was mediocre at best, and criticized them for it, they were going to release an unfinished product. Remember that next time you claim they never lied to the fanbase.

If by excellent you mean polished, again you got the wrong idea. Polished Yoink is still Yoink. Listened to the fans how? mcc is indeed better than launch, but its been 6 years. Im not even going to mention H4/5…
