Just want to take a moment and thank 343 for the exceptional game that is Halo 5. I admit it’s a little light on game modes but with those in the works I’m completely convinced H5 will go down as the greatest in the series. After H4 I didn’t think it was possible for Halo to make the step in next gen shooting mechanics but I doff my cap to 343 for proving me wrong.

343 did a -Yoinking!- good job with halo 5 if you don’t like it don’t play simple as that and stop talking so much -Yoink- about them they are doing the best they can
I don’t think it’s a joke, because well, I agree with him, as do many others. Perhaps it won’t be remembered as ‘the greatest in the series’ as a lot of people dislike it for varying reasons, both legitimate and legitimately silly. But there are many of us who think this game is phenomenal and really just needs a few extra modes, which have been promised. I agree with OP 100%. If they deliver on game modes, this will easily be my favorite Halo game thus far by a large margin.

Therefor he can’t show more even though he loves the game. You know. Logic.

Where did I say he can’t show his appreciation? I was more referring to “among all the ragers” and stating that we showed appreciation too, when we put millions in the MS bank account.

The fact that no one is playing is the problem.
We had the same crap with Halo 4 “if you don’t like it don’t play it, go play something else” So everybody did. Halo 4 died.
Rather than being defensive about the game and 343i. How about fans stop being so in denial, and then 343i will actually address the issues all their games have had and then people will like their games.
The game looks and feels interesting, but frankly I see this game dying in population in a couple months if the DLC plan continues like this. A lot of fans are wanting to have map packs instead of content they will probably never unlock or spend through war zone. It was an interesting strategy but a little on the shady side. With 5, it is looking more and more like a make or break point with 343 industries. They make interesting features, and they break old promises that have come expected of a Halo title

Do you have any sources on player population? I’m genuinely curious. I see people say this all the time but I haven’t been able to find any population stats (the one thread on this is just a math discussion of statistical analysis based on the game sales). I personally have never had any issues finding a game.

Did you just climb out of the Dead Sea, because that post was salty

What are you talking about? I play regularly and at random times and I’ve never had an issues getting into a game quickly. Stop projecting your opinion as fact. People want the ragers to leave cause they’re hurting the potential for H5 population to rise more than anything 343 has or hasn’t done. Would you want to buy a game if you visited the site and saw thread after thread of people saying ‘this is not a real halo game,’ ‘the developers hate the community,’ ‘I’m quitting this game if it doesn’t change soon.’ Doubtful. Common sense is a helluva tool, you should try it out sometime.

Right now H5 is sitting #10 on XBLs most played list behind star wars battle front
you can checkout battlefronts population here: http://swbstats.com
aa you can see there are 13,000 people
Playing battlefront
if battlefront is higher on the most played list it stands to reason that halo has a smaller population
