Thank you 343. You guys have put up with all this hate that people are throwing at you, and you still deliver new, free updates, every month. You guys are great, and even though you did kinda screw up 5’s campaign, you sure made up for it with some of the best multiplayer ive ever seen in a shooter. Because of all this stuff should’ve been! Halo 5 launched with a -Yoink- campaign and the multiplayer was bare bones.
They aren’t giving us “free updates”, they’re giving us the other half of the game we paid $60 for.
If you watched the Memories of Reach Twitch stream, one of the map designers for “Stasis” said the map was done for 2 years now.
and not to mention the map “Battle of Noctus” was on a trailer of Halo 5 like 3 months before the game came out. The maps and gametypes were/are done, we just don’t have all of it yet.
I can’t believe people are on here complaining that H5 is “barebones”. Seriously that blows my mind. Halo 5 really isn’t barebones.

Yes, very impressed with the game. I played a few campaign missions at launch, then played Destiny for months, and I returned when infection wad released and must say I’m loving it!

343 have done ok, not full blown praise as they’ve done some stuff wrong - but I think fundamentally HALO 5 is a good game and plays well. Updates be it free have kept me interested n the game more so than paid DLC and it’s been good not fragmenting the user base with different map packs etc…
the population numbers say 343 has failed spectacularly for the 3rd time in a row

Id argue on overwatch since the average amount of content for the type of game it is is already very low (in otherwords its not meant to have tons of stuff in it)

That’s because this guy would be right
Free is great, but I’m not gonna overly praise them for it. If someone gives me a moldy sandwich to eat for free, I’ll appreciate the gesture, but I’m not gonna eat it. That being said, there have been some good sandwiches that 343 gave us. I’d also suspect one reason these updates are free is because they’ve been paid for by people buying REQ packs with real money.
