Thank you 343

Here me out Halo community and please leave your thoughts and feedback
I’ve been into the hardcore competitive gaming style of Halo since 2004, enjoyed all the glorious days of the MLG circuits and endless nights of Halo 3 with friends to become better.
BUT not all MLG fans are closed minded…

After looking thru these forums, I see nothing but whining and complaints. So I would like to take this post and give 343 positive and constructive criticism from a competitive player mindset.

I feel Halo Reach and Halo 4 had changes that shifted the gameplay too much in a random fashion, (Abilities & Load outs). After playing 3 hours of Halo 5 Area, I am nothing but pleased with how THESE mechanics work together in this game.

Level Playing field - Every one has sprint, dash, slide, clamber etc. It’s up to each individual to master these tactics to their playing style advantages. (It changes how the maps flow in a good way)

Ar / Pistol starts - Ar is perfect, mid to close range, in the right hands this weapon is not useless. Pistol I’m on the fence about, it might be just a little op. I find myself using the pistol in every situation as long as I don’t have a br or power weapon in my hand. That could be a good thing, if the opposing team has map / br / power weapon control, it gives a person who knows how to use the pistol effectively a fighting chance to go clutch. I have many instances where I out Pistol people when they have the br. However I don’t think the pistol should be able to cross map easily IMHO.

Maps - I have not encountered any problems with the maps except there’s not enough released yet. However, map design and spawns I have not seen problems.

Well that’s all I have at the moment it 2:30am my brains out of juice .

Thank you 343 for making Halo Feel like Halo

I totally agree with you, except for the spawn points. These are horrible sometimes, e.g. when you spawn right where you died a second ago and get killed from the same person again.

Campaign and multiplayer have been done very nicely imo

I doubted Halo 5 since I was worried with the beta, but it honestly turned out to be a fantastic game
