Great announcement yesterday! 3 new game modes ontop of a whole new coloring system combined with UI improvements coming, a new non remixed map and a reimagining of Noble Six’s armor. I couldnt be happier. Ive been asking for that armor, original maps, these game modes, this coloring system and a new UI forever now and we finally are getting it. Makes me pumped to see what more they can improve on in the last 4 of the updates.
Have to admit, even I’m beginning to appreciate this dlc model. If the game would’ve launched with forge and 2 more game modes, I don’t think the backlash would’ve been nearly as bad. That said, I’m going to adjust my standards as a gamer and stop wanting everything immediately. If 343 continues to support the game like this, I’m behind them 100%. Huge step up from halo 4.
I’m fairly happy with it too, and hopefully the new Arena map won’t be a let down. If it also added permanent ranked Team Doubles and Oddball in matchmaking it’d be the perfect update.
Don’t forget a new map not forged or remix brand spankin new

Griffball, Assault and Fiesta Slayer will be added to matchmaking.
I’m super excited, too, and the new colour palette looks fantastic! I hope they continue down this path and bring back more modes! (The only this I’m disappointed with is Oddball and Ricochet aren’t coming back as playlists.

Fiesta and Grifball are coming back? Looks like I got gold just in time.
Couldn’t agree more. It’s not perfect, and it never will be, but this is going to be a great update. I feel like it’s a good step towards making the community feel important again. Good job guys!

Yes, I agree with you. Halo 5 is superior to 4 in nearly every way, I like what 343 is doing with most of Halo 5 but it seems like they were lazy before it was released. I am grateful for this update, though, it looks great.

I agree with you 100%. There would be a lot less backlash if they added BTB and forge at the start with a couple more game modes. I’m also glad you have an open mind. Op, this update may be the best one yet.

Because theyre trying to fix it obviously. They know they failed and theyre making it up and then some. No one says they have to keep supporting the game, youre lucky they care this much about the series
