• Reduced the range of the Boltshot’s damage scaling over distance. The previous effective range for 1-hit kills was 20’-25’. The range has been reduced to 15’.
• Fixed an issue that did not allow players to create respawn timers or disable instant respawn in custom games.
• Fixed issues with friendly fire against vehicles. If FF is disabled, damage / EMPs from friendly sources will no longer damage vehicles that are fully controlled by your team.
Please keep listening. The more info that you release about the update, the more people will start playing again.
> I don’t get it, so they reduced the range of the boltshots 1 hit kill? So they buffed it? or the other way around…
It had a longer 1SK distance then the shotgun. The 1SK didn’t get buffed, the distance for the 1SK got nerfed. Still, I don’t think the Boltshot should be a 1SK nonetheless.

Ignorance at its finest. Its quite obvious they have been listening. The fact that they hired Bravo was a strategic business move. Without them LISTENING to the community they would probably never hired outside help.

Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? They had team throwdown planned before Bravo got there, the changes to customs totally done by bravo in two weeks right? I’m not sure you know how long it takes to get a single change in a game, especially ones whose code is as complicated as Halo 4’s, but let me tell you Bravo is not responsible for these changes, the entire Multiplayer team is. He may be a driving force, but he wasn’t the one that made these changes possible or was he the one listening on the forums.

Bravo updates MM and does the bulletin. The multiplayer team is the one creating the patch. It isn’t hard to change custom settings since anyone can do so.
And no, they didn’t have a “fix Halo 4” button. They had to create the new build, and make sure that doesn’t mess with the other aspects of the game. That takes time.
I like Bravo, but he isn’t the reason why Halo is getting better.
> Bravo is a map creator for the MLG that was hired on by 343i to assist in working on Halo 4’s match making system.
Uhhh, no. Bravo was a former competitive player turned “Pro Coach”, who began commentating for MLG before landing a job on 343’s Multiplayer Sustain team. His official position is ‘Sustain Associate Producer’.
