Okay. So after the multiplayer debacle of MCC, I was real worried my Halo love affair was going to end badly. I have a long term relationship with this franchise. Like running through the fields like a sappy school kid. Sure we had our fights. Sure Halo would cook a real bad meal every now and then and burn the food. It would spend my money and give me sub par ‘relations’ at night sometimes. But I always found my back to Halo. Halo even abandoned her old look and went with a entirely new image inspired by new parents. Love can’t be great with trials. But Halo MCC came along and almost farked up our relationship permanently. Basically, my GF Halo gave me -Yoink!-. But I came back to Halo with five and gave it one more go. I used to shell out whatever money I had for whatever crap Halo tried to sell me but now I look at this relationship a little different. I am cautious, older, wiser. That is why I bought the standard edition and refused to by any REQ packs day one.
All that said, you got me back 343. Thank you for getting it right. What I mean is, I can attempt to play a multiplayer game and it actually connects. I have not had one game drop. It is fluid, it runs smooth, and I enjoy playing it. Thank you for that. Now could some weapons be tweaked for balance? Sure. Do I want to spend any more money after paying full price for a game? Not really. But I really have no beef investing in the love of my life.
I just one request…
- I don’t care about split screens - I definitely don’t care about the ‘lack’ of map variety - Even though I hate micro transactions, I will pay n extra 24.99 if I like a game, so I don’t give a -Yoink!- about REQ Packs (I just didn’t understand them)What you have to fix in my humble opinion is this.
WHEN PLAYERS QUIT YOU NEED TO REPLACE THEM IN MULTIPLAYER
So some loser, most likely a millennial, with a short attention span quits on a match because they are getting served, that makes it 4 on 3 or 4 on 2 and the others are left to be destroyed. It takes the fun out of the game. I know there are consequences for quitting. That is great. But like, what about the people who stay and fight it out like men (and women)? Is there extra credit given? Not that I know of. It just becomes a blood bath. Some people hate clans and like to play lone wolf so why should be forced to start a Spartan Company in order to make sure people on my side don’t quit?
Can you please look into this?
