Thank You, 343/Microsoft/Whoever

I generally don’t have many good things to say about 343, if you’ve seen any of my other posts you’d know that. But I’ve got to give them props, Halo Reach runs pretty great on next gen now. The only time I get any framerate issues is occasionally in firefight if there’s a lot happening onscreen. I jumped on for the first time in a few months tonight, and was pleasantly surprised. I uninstalled Halo 5, and I’m back to loving this game again.

So that update did fix the framerate? I definitely noticed an improvement after the update, but I only played one quick game of Firefight… hopefully if any more issues with Reach on Xbox One crop up, they’re quicker to fix them.

I also uninstalled Halo 5 from my hard drive… mind you, I did that days ago when I finally decided that it was just a waste of space.

i played one match… but still had framerate problems… but it was definetly way better than before.

but maybe i’m not used to 30 fps anymore (i think reach is 30 fps)

I belive reach plays at an almost solid 30fps now it still looks wierd when you move probably because of anti analyzing always on but it doesent effect me playing it’s still clear and a good level of smooth

Damn nice. The low framerate was an eyesore for BC reach. Glad its fixed now

It’s the same on Xbox 360, bodies disppears fast at the bonus round… also Tip of the Spear if you destroy the second Tyrant with all Covenant still here, the game spawn even more Covenants and a squad of troopers (+ extra Wraiths in coop for 2/4 enemies and a vehicle) .

Yeah it’s 30 fps and it takes a while to get used to. A few matches of multiplayer gets your eyes used to it.

Or several matches of campaign, though it didn’t work as well for me.

Side Note: I haven’t played Reach on X1 in a while due to the issues I had a while back. Seems I’ll need to try it again.

I still have my 360 so I just play it on my 360 the coloring on the one looks a little off to me so I’ll still play it on 360

It was microsoft that fixed the backwards compatibility on the xbox one. I don’t think 343 had anything to do with it at all.

Meh, either way, I’m just glad somebody fixed it. And since 343 is part of Microsoft, potato potahto (I don’t actually know how to type that, but you get what I’m going for)

yeah It’s great now  super happy about it!

Why are you thanking 343? They had nothing to do with the update, it was Microsoft backwards compatibility team
