Just read the new bulletin I so glad that 343 industries are actually thinking about release their pre orders as dlc after the game release. I know me and many other are glad to hear good news :). Now I know that it wasn’t officially said that they were going to be in the xbox market place but to know that they are consider it and thatt most likely that they are going to put it just give me hope. I would like to thank The Little Moa for asking his question and 343 for trying something new and give people the chance to actually get pre orders, it really show that they do listen and care about their fans :).

its nothing but armor skins dude its not like the other games where you get the best gun in the game, or in others games like black ops 2 where you get a map. and their is no point in even pre ordering the game anymore in my view.

How is that a middle finger? Oh no, you paid a total of 0$ to get something extra early? And other people might get the chance to have access to that cool stuff later on? Oh the horror!

Well I don’t know about you, but I pre-ordered to make sure that I’d get my Limited Edition, and that I’d get it on the first day.
I read might add, that not the same as will add.

Pre-order skins should be released for everyone; but if Limited Edition game or console skins come out when I spent upwards of 500 dollars on the game, I’m going to do bad things to good people.

No, it’s not at all. These retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses are little partnerships. Each retailer buys a certain bonus so that they can attract customers to buy from them. Pre-ordering almost ensures that your customer will buy from you, so that’s why each retailer has their own exclusive bonus. Some time after the game is released, that deal becomes null as the “better than the rest” incentive is pretty much gone, so why NOT release them to the public?
The retailer exclusive bonuses are only a marketing ploy to attract customers to the store, not the game. I’m pre-ordering from Gamestop because it’s more convenient, but I like other skins better. Why SHOULDN’T I be able to get those other skins after the marketing campaign is over?

What I got out of the Bulletin was that retailers’ different pre-order bonuses were crafted specifically for each retailer, instead of assigning already perfected pieces of content and selling them off exclusively to individual retailers.
All I want to get is the Locust helmet and the Raptor skin thats all everything else i don’t care for.

You’re right, it isn’t. Those who pre-ordered get a skin free, but in case you haven’t noticed, you have to pay for DLC.

Austin, armory isn’t exclusive in Pre order. The Locus helmet has a helmet skin.

it’s a GIANT middle finger to all those that paid $400 for the LE Xbox and get the $400 skin just for someone later to spend $3 for it -_-
Preorder DLC later is very stupid and I’m very against the idea of Preorder DLC.
