So many negative posts about Sprint, the Story, and Multiplayer, I thought a positive post would be good. I love the story and campaign, I think Warzone is probably the funnest gametype ever, Arena has really seen an evolution. BTB feels great and is a great gametype. I think you did an amazing job on this game and deserve more recognition.
Love to see this! I think Halo 5 is great as well!! (To be fair, haven’t played campaign yet… but multiplayer is unreal!)
I also love this game a lot, it has his flaws, but overall is a pretty awesome game. It has become one of my favorite video games. And when new updates come eventually, the game will get even better. I am a gigantic halo fan. But I’m not a fanboy. And when something is not right or generally pretty crappy in the pantheon of the halo series then I and other impassioned fans that have been following this series of over a DECADE are going to say something.
If you have no complaints or are generally satisfied then excellent, I’m happy for you as a consumer. But I and many other people are not pleased with several facets of the game (which I could list here at length but it’s already done to death on the forums).
Still after all my complaints, rants, and general disappointment towards 343i I STILL play their game. Because I love halo that much and I’ll continue to play it through the rough patches, but I’m sure as hell not going to be silent and complacent about it while I do. lol
I agree OP. I think 343i delivered a great product with their release of H5 Guardians. I love this game (especially from a multiplayer perspective).
Need more threads like these.

I love halo but halo 5 I can only play so much of before I just cannot play it. I play maybe an hour of it a night but glaring flaws keep me from enjoying it. Its not as bad as halo 4 (when I stopped playing it altogether including the mcc) but with changes it can be recovered
Halo 5 was amazing, it only really had very minor mistakes.

I feel halo 5 is aimed at twitch shooter fans rather than the OG fans.
Halo 5 is great. It’ easier to understand the story if you don’t rush through every mission. I first played it on heroic and was kinda confused because I rushed to get to the end. A second play through (on legendary =D) and I went slower, especially through the non combat levels and completely understood the story. I think that’s why 343 said it was an 8-12 hour campaign cuz they expected everyone to take their time.
The MP is awesome. Really balanced and addicting. Glad the AR has range now and is considered deadly. BTB is really fun and the maps are cool, especially guillotine. Warzone is cool and it’s super cool to assassinate the Warden.
All in all, Halo 5 is awesome and 343 should give themselves a pat on the back.

Agreed with everything. Halo 5 is just fun. Loved the campaign and multiplayer. I just really don’t like how it feels everything is ranked and competitive.

There are more negative posts b/c of all the problems in the game. Aiming is still broke, maps look bad and play worse, SWAT was made worse after the update, players quit all the time, ranking system doesn’t reward individual performance, armor is useless, Req system is a revenue source for 343, etc.

thank you 343 this is a briliant game, story is amazing and keeps you guessing till the end, multiplayer is as good as ever guns have been made very well balanced and bringing back big team was the best thing yet.

I personally haven’t had huge problems with the game, yes there are issues here and there that could be fixed, but I still enjoy playing the multiplayer and heck I found 6 or so others in game that I’ll play with and we have a blast. I know the ranking is definitely buggered, but having it personal would make the flow of the game a mess in my opinion and with the microtransactions it’s not like 343 is forcing you to buy anything it’s all in your own choice.
Anyways I’m looking forward to the small tweaks and additions that’ll be added in the years to come. Thanks 343 for a pretty good game.
I like the idea of playing different characters within the story of Halo 5. I look forward to more character options for the campaign of Halo 6. 343 has a potential opportunity of expanding the Halo franchise beyond, Cortana, Halsey and Master Chief. Keep up the good work!
