Thank you 343 for this game (Sarcasm)

First off I’m not a competitive halo player I consider myself “causal competitive”
but I just found some news that shocked me on Twitter and Sundance (the head of MLG) just tweeted “MLG singed it’s side of the console shooter deal for 2013. The game in the deal was not Halo. Once deal is countersigned we will announce” It’s clear he is talking about Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 but I don’t want to talk about that game the problem I have with 343i is how fake they are only people I have respect for there is Frank O’ Connor,Josh Holmes,Neil Davidge and Sotara Tojima (don’t ask why)but essentially they released a half done game. From start it should have a ranking system and a file share that actually works I wouldn’t of mind waited Halo 4 for an extra year, now the only people that kept halo competitive alive since Halo: Reach was MLG now they have thrown the game to the side. Worst off all the Custom Games options are horrendous and they promise every issue to be resolved in the title update why did I pay £40 for a half done game it would have been better if they released it for half the price but now the game is more boring then watching a wall dry. Another question why did they not release spectator mode for Halo 4 were on the 5th halo game on this current generation and they still haven’t included a spectator mode and the playlists are more messed up then anything what person was it to include Team Regicide over Team Doubles? Everybody thought they supported competitive side of Halo when they did a Halo tournament at MLG Dallas but that was just a publicity stunt the only thing I respect them for at the moment is owning up to their mistakes but maybe all these problems get sorted out in the titile update.

Thank you for the millionth post just like this (sarcasm).

I don’t see how this is bad news. I’m not sure MLG is the best place to showcase competitive Halo. I would not be surprised if they chose CoD because their game needs no tweaking to meet their “standard”. I would prefer a competitive tournament circuit where you actually played Halo.

All I got from your complaint was “Wah Wah Wah”. Though, I do agree with you about the playlists, they need to bring back the good playlists from Halos 3 and reach.

They chose Call of Duty because their developer actually supports their competitive community (unlike Halo), and because Microsoft signed a deal with -Yoink!- Gaming giving them the exclusive rights to host Halo tournaments.
