I had 18 free spaces on my file share
with out bungie pro or any form of a pro at all?
so while I haven’t checked to see if this means I can now download my clips onto my computer to make videos I do know I can finally share all my maps that I have been working months on now
Two things.
- There was no kicking of any sort, Bungie left Halo to begin other projects.
- More files take more server space. Servers cost money, honey.
Hopefully, this will answer some of your questions:
Bungie gave Halo to 343 Industries; no one was kicked out of anything. The extended File Share was a gift to us from 343, to make up with a few problems that we’re going to face now that Bungie is no longer handling Halo content. Among these are the inability to transfer Theater videos from Halo to your computer: Bungie was never required to hand over the tech for that, and 343i doesn’t have the time to create their own version.
343 didn’t kick no one out, Bungie’s contract expired.
Personally I miss Bungie’s stats.
