Thank goodness for Anniversary Throwback

Today I thought I’d slowly start to work toward some Targetmaster skins. I’d given up on PvP after I got so sick of the useless BR earlier this year. So I thought to give Anniversary Throwback a shot. My, what a nice change to have a cool and functional workhorse weapon with a reticle about as big as the BR’s. Sucks that it’s only a rotational playlist otherwise I might have stuck around for PvP a bit longer.

Rock N Rail was great for this commendation as well. The matches were quick, it played differently than the other playlists, and it was easy to rack up wins with a team of four.

Yeah that’s a good option too and was quite fun for the couple matches that I played at some point. I guess I was just so put off my the “fixes” that I put the game away for much of this year and didn’t play Rock N Rail as much. Hoping to see some cool rotational playlists because they are really the only incentive for me to come back from time to time and slowly work toward some of the new skins.

Its a fun playlist even though I got my butt kicked a few times.

Its not too bad if you can find someone to play with. Having one person to work with makes it all the better.

The playlist just reminds me of how bad H5 is since I can’t help but compare it to CE while playing. On the plus side, it’s something different to play.

Anniversary throwback is definitely one of my favorite playlists. I play it more than most of the other rotational playlists combined. With the exception of the H3 playlist

I’m glad it exists because the people at 343 Industries are acknowledging the game that started it all, and how it appeals to the fans who prefer the original classic style gameplay over the modernized game style.

This is about Anniversary Throwback, not H3 Classic Throwback.

The Anniversary Throwback playlist is played on forged CE maps w/ some minor modifications, gives you the M6D Pistol as a loadout weapon, H5’s best effort at the CE sandbox, two modes: Slayer & CTF, and Halo 5’s Spartan Abilities (movement).

I only wished that the Anniversary Throwback playlist ALSO included past H2 maps w/ some minor modifications, gave you the H2BR as a loadout weapon when playing on those maps, H5’s best effort at the H2A sandbox, three modes: Slayer, CTF, & maybe Strongholds (representing 3-Plot), and Halo 5’s Spartan Abilities (movement).
