Thank God The Menu Isn't Blue

Many, many things were great about Halo 3.
Don’t get me wrong, I liked the menu of it. But I have to say that I thought Reach got it better. Halo 3’s menu was blue. And more blue. And more blue. Everywhere. While it didn’t matter a whole lot, it got really repetitive after a while. I loved Reach’s backgrounds, which switched from majestic mountain views to chaotic battle scenes, all in full color (and a nice artistic style). From what little we’ve seen of the menu, while many things are blue (As that is the nature of Halo) the general background appears to differ, at least slightly.
A small thing, but nice imo.

I didn’t like most of the menus in Reach because they were just concept art. I liked the MM menu though, because it was more then just one picture, it had other textures moving on it to simulate a scenery. I hope H4’s menus are more like HR’s MM menu.

I got to agree with you OP, although I love the colour blue, to much of it isn’t nice and when it comes to Halo it easily gets similar to the background makes it hard to see the text sometimes. Nothing wrong with some extra colours :slight_smile:

I absolutely loved Reach’s backgrounds, it was really interesting to see different pieces of concept art. I too am glad that we’re not seeing blue all over the place. While it was nice for Halo 2 and Halo 3, it did get a little old.

I liked the “Captain America: Super Soldier” menu.
The menu music in Halo 2 made me sad.
And there should be cutscenes. Lots and lots of cutscenes of machines and computers hooking all of your armor pieces on you like Isaac Clarke or Iron Man!

Blue is and was Halo’s color. Blue is and was Bungie’s color.

It made sense. Your complaints and gratification confuse that part of my brain that does, like, logic and stuff.

As long as the menus arent concept art like a certain…other halo game, i will be perfectly happy with it.

Halo 2 and 3 had blue menus, I liked those a lot. We even used to have blue reticules…

Halo 2 and 3 had blue menus, I liked those a lot. We even used to have blue reticules…

I also liked how Reach’s backgrounds moved slightly, like we were looking at artwork from different angles.
