Texture Pop

Why in Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary, is there so much texture popping? I normally don’t complain about this because it exists in every game, but the amount of texture pop that is in this game is downright pathetic. I can’t even turn around in a hallway without seeing the textures pop in after a second or so.

It’s a ten year old game, they are running a second graphic layer ontop of the original, making them coincide with each other, with the Xbox’s restrictions, this was likely.

I understand the technical limitations, some what, but if this was a problem, and I am sure they saw it during testing, why wasn’t something down about this. Maybe use a but lower res texture so it take sup less RAM and can be drawn faster.

In my time playing the campaign of Halo: CEA I’ve found nothing wrong with the textures.

Because within seconds its fixed and it shouldn’t be taken as a big deal, I personally saw no problem with it once I installed CEA to my hard drive.
