Has anyone tested their latency to the servers using Azurespeed.com?
I’m in the Mid-East U.S and Virginia would be the closest Azure server. I tested my latency on Azurespeed.com using my XBone wired straight to the modem and my ping was just over 100. It also shows the closest servers, which bounced all around the world.
I used the same setup on my laptop and receive a fairly consistent 34-43ms latency and consistent “Closest Servers” of Eastern and Central US.
My brother, who lives close by tried the same tests with very similar results.
What could create such a difference in latency between the XBone and the laptop and why wouldn’t the closest servers stay consistent on the XBone?
