So I’m pretty sure that this is probably not get noticed by 343.
The skill matches system is horrendous I have match with people that are in their 50s when I’m only at rank 20 there needs to be either Stricker matchmaking programmers for skill and also consider skill on an overall basis and not a single playlist just because someone is a level 15 and 1 playlist does it mean they are fifty and other playlist the skill doesn’t change they are still a level 50 regardless of the playlist.
Solo queuing in Halo is a nightmare I would definitely suggest adding a features for players who want to solo queue just like how Destiny 2 does it for their competitive playlist.
There definitely needs to be stricter scale parameters set for competitive and even slightly more stricter in social playlist.
Pretty much the last complaint I have when it comes to scale matching is that Afking is becoming a huge problem for me at least an me competitive playlist and social I’m tired of these cheaters idling and there needs to either be stronger penalties for quitting or a more robust system to detect Idol players.
I don’t want the armchair developer 4343 but this is extremely frustrating for years I have noticed a decline and how skill matching is implemented and I rather wait 3 minutes for a match that is proper and competitive instead of waiting 30 seconds for a lopsided game because of speed.
