Almost every time I go in to Halo 5 multiplayer game it starts lagging a ton, but whenever I play other Xbox one games multiplayer the game play is just fine so it’s not my internet.
Monitors Bounty update… Black screen, little wheel turning on the bottom left, no game DNF. Freezing during game play get insta-killed and dropped from the game. It’s been a mess since the last update.
How come the servers lag? This game keeps getting worse because the people in charge cannot listen to the community. Learn from halo 3 and 4, as they ran relatively smooth. I go into games sometimes and it is perfect then some games on other servers run like crap. I cannot continue playing a game that is not running smooth. You do not care as much as when Bungie was part of the process.
Yup sounds about right. It wouldn’t be halo without some crappy servers and a ton of lag.

Less lag and dropped games in H5, H3 was always laggy.

H3 was during the years of the lag switch when bad internet helped you not hurt you lol
There is a thread pinned at the top of the Halo 5 Support Forum (previous page) for discussing server related problems. You are likely to get more responses from there.
Most of the time any one-off problems with the servers can be solved by just waiting for them to clear up themselves, or by completing a cold reset of your Xbox One. To perform a cold reset, hold down the power button (Xbox logo on the front of your console) for 10 seconds. Additionally, I sometimes find resetting Alternate MAC Address in network settings on your console can make the game a lot more responsive.

You dont really get responses from 343 there tbh, I think they just read the reports and deal with the issues whenever do, I have yet to receive a response regarding the issues with bad connections or bad servers, the most we get is Josh’s information on the MATCHMAKING FEEDBACK THREAD that comes bi-/weekly and even his help is limited.
Please use the pinned thread to leave your feedback or report issues. Screenshots and video clips are encouraged
