Ever since Hog Wild went live i’m experiencing severe Lag and Freeze issues. Although i kinda expected the game performance and latency issues to worsen again like with every major update but what i had to go through the last few days is just a truckload of -Yoink-. It is just stupid to release a content update that ruins the performance and networking. And the best part is we finally got our matchmaking preferences but they don’t do -Yoink-. Since the matchmaking preferences were introduced i always play with the focussed setting and i still get the thrill of playing lagfest 5 with teleport spartans and nades with random time delay ( i had some nades explode on me like 5 seconds after they landed ) and to top it off on either of the other modes it’s even worse.
It’s cool that the updates are free and all although the amount of content and it’s quality aren’t that exhilarating but what brakes it for me is the fact that after each update i have to deal with severe issues in terms of playability and that is just a no go for a AAA Title on a console. Halo 5 is a decently good game but they way 343i is handling everything is just a punch to the face of me as a customer.
P.S. : They can attach a shield generator to a spartan but not to the regular warthog, why do they even need the help of the sangheilis to do this when they clearly proved the UNSC can use shield generators with every spartan Armor since Mark IV and why the heck does the Swordhog gun look nothing like a needler? they could atleast make it look a little bit like a covenant weapon and not like a regular machine gun with needles as ammo.
