Ever since I picked up my Xbox One, I have completely hated it’s controller. The bumpers are terrible for my hand and starts to hurt my trigger fingers after awhile, and I feel like it has the sloppiest thumbsticks I’ve ever had the misfortune of using. I have to look like a complete -Yoink- playing the beta, because I cannot aim for the life of me with these sticks. Is it the controller, or are the controls in the beta just awful? I was playing Halo: Reach a few days ago, and doing just fine.
I personally love the Xbox One controller and have done quite well with it. I found the beta controls and sensitivity to be off, so I changed the control scheme and put the sensitivity to max and now I am doing fine.
I have to play on 1 or 2 to even have a chance of hitting anything, usually I’m on 4 or 5. Aiming just feels incredibly sloppy.

If your having trouble with aim try reducing your sensitivity or you can go and buy “Kontrol Freeks” I prefer the CQC but Alphas are good also, you probs wont like the FPS if you have smaller hands.

Lowering it helps, but also gimps me. Having someone get in close is a death sentence since I can’t turn fast enough to follow them.
Aiming is hard because there is less aim assist.
Scroface umm no thats not whats hes saying. go play h1-4 on mcc the aiming feels smooth and not super sloppy. This aiming feels all clunky and -Yoink-
I dunno they both feel fine to me, I haven’t had a problem with the controller since day 1 and the controls are pretty much perfect.
I was pretty slow to adapt to the Xbox One controller, but now I’d say it’s better than the 360 controller. It’s all about forgetting the old muscle memory and learning the new.
Also, the Beta’s default controls are terrible. I’d play on the Halo 4 control scheme if it weren’t for the fact that it puts you at a disadvantage since it doesn’t auto-scope you after descoping.
I’ve noticed tracking up and down is much slower than previous Halos.
I could be wrong maybe the controls are just wonky.
