Terrible boss system in Warzone

I have lost countless times to worse teams that always steal the legendary boss kills from my team 343 needs to change how this works by either distributing points based on how much damage you do or by lowering the amount of points you get from major boss kills.

Or you could adapt to the scenario and either prevent the other team from stealing the boss by attacking them while they attack the boss, or hide with your own anti-boss weapon and try to steal the boss yourself.
Boss stealing requires patience and foresight. One does not simply roll up on the Warden and steal the kill.

I love how similar your profile pics are and how they express your opinions on this topic

I guess those other teams aren’t really all that much worse if they’re getting your boss countless times.

Haha

I don’t like the idea of who makes more damage gets the kill.
Just imagine the boss situation with a 3man situation in ffa it’s kind of luck and a little bit of timing your shot

I’ve done this so many times but it happened to me so many times too

I like the system. You’ve gotta make sure those enemy Spartans are taken care of.

Oh, if I could give you bonus points for that, lol.

Why do all the hard work and waste Reqs when you can rush in at the last second, throw all your grenades (especially a splitter for warden) and just spray like mad with an SMG?

Shinnobi does

If you’re beating the other team enough to have map control, they shouldn’t be able to steal the legendary boss kills so easily.

If you’re playing with a team, some of you should be killing them other team instead of having everyone trying to kill the boss.

I see this all the time, especially on stormbreak. I pull a scorpion or wraith or mantis and get hijacked while a bunch of my teammates are behind me shooting at the warden with Br’s. People without power weapons should cover the entrances and protect their teammates who have vehicles and power weapons. This never happens with randoms because everyone wants the warden kill commendation. When I play with my company, we’re successful at getting the boss kills more often because people care more about winning than personal stats.

I even took my scorpion to the other entrance a few times to kill any vehicles and people on foot, so that the other team couldn’t even approach the warden while my team killed him. I gave up my shot at the warden kill to play interference so that my team could win the game because that’s the only way that teams will consistently win games.

On noctus you should get control of the garage he spawns in front of or the monument beforehand, preferably both. And some people should be sniping, lasering or using vehicles to kill anyone who has a shot on him, while a few people go after the kill. If everyone goes after the kill, you’ll leave yourself open to have it stolen.

I kind of get where you are coming from, but you have to understand that WZ inherently is a Slayer/Objective mix. Their team may be getting slayed over and over, but if they are getting boss kills they are playing the objective better than you. Now I understand point distribution can be a source of contention, and I can assure you that if they were to distribute points based on %dmg dealt it would only lead to stalemates (of which I have only ever had one Draw in WZ). The reasoning for last hit counts is because that is the team that killed the boss. Yes, it is called a steal, but these major objectives need to be protected. Sorry for your luck.

I shouldn’t be, but I am always pleasantly surprised when my team gets awarded the kill. I don’t mind the current system. I have stolen, and had had stolen, so it evens out.

that is true but boss stealing still sucks if you worked on it for like a minute and then some guy put one rocket on the warden and he dies but still get weapons that destroy bosses

just think , points should be based the damages incurred
