So I just played Terminus firefight and got wrecked because having 30 seconds of prep time is not enough. I say this because on the FIRST boss wave I had a scarab attack us and it demolished us. All we had was infantry and we lost 2 of the objectives. We need more prep time in the beginning!

the first few rounds are difficult to adapt but granade and marines still beat everything.
Yeah but having 30 seconds isn’t enough time to prep. We need at least 2 minutes.
2 minutes could build an army that reqs everything.
Maybe 1 minute.
How about 1:30 ? That good enough? C’mon 343! 30 seconds isn’t enough time. Cause you never know what boss you might get. You can either get a boss that you can defend yourself with or a boss that can req you in the first 5 waves.

I would agree 30 seconds is hard for the average player to prep; however when it comes to the early boss waves the objective isn’t necessarily to beat the Scarab/boss but to survive the round. Distract the Scarab, drop mines front of it, keep building walls to distract it. After I think 2 minutes the boss round will end whether you’ve killed it or not.
killing it earns you the bonus round.
Yes but the boss will req you if you dont have enough troops. Having 30 seconds and having a limited resources to beat the boss or to distract it is not enough. We at least need 1 minute or 2.

They shouldn’t send Scarabs, Condors, Retriever Sentinels, and Spartans on the first 10 waves their too good, your not prepared for them.
The bosses should be like one scorpion or wraith

I only have issues with scarabs

I beat everything but a scarab while losing little to nothing on legendary. Quite odd the Scarab is my most feared wave 5 leader. Still, it is beatable and 30 secs is plenty.
Yeah but the issue here is having no time to prep. Usually I get what 1st wave of infantry then after that just nothing but vehicles. Like what the hell!

marines and non-upgraded turrets are great at beating everything. The vehicles are too weak to kill marines and marines kill the very fast, and I mean fast. The game is good where it is.
