So, so far I love terminus firefight. I love combining the different leaders to form the best combos and the fact that there’s a leaderboard a few clicks away. I’ve made it into the top three scores quite a few times on 2vE and 3vE over the last few days so I would consider myself experienced but I have some questions I’d like help with from the community.
- Air. Most of the time, Nothing short of a direct air wave or 30 vultures with 500% health gets by me so I’m curious to see how people handle that. I’ve made it to ~70 on heroic and ~50 on ledendary but it’s always those two waves that ends me.
- Leaders. I think anders and pavium are by far the most effective leaders yet i see serina at the top for scores. How is she being used to out power sentinel beacon?
- The Terminus. I’ve read comments here and there mentioning players healing spires and Terminus damage but I can’t figure out how to do it. Am I mission something?
- How do you guys beat the first 5 waves on legendary? I usually find that nothing short of a mega turret holds the waves off and that the unsc heros wave is practically unstoppable with Alice melting things with her chaingun. I find it that to a degree, succes is based on the rng of not getting the unsc faction. They just seem harder overall, and flood seem the easiest.
Id love to hear how people are doing and that this thread can be a go to for learning from each other’s “dos” and “donts”.
What I don’t like is the fact that you can’t choose if you want to play with 2 players or with 3 players. For some reason the game is only searching for 1 other player. I prefer to play with 3 people but if matchmaking only searches for 1 other person…
Wait, where are the leaderboards? I was looking yesterday but can’t find them on Waypoint. Are they only in-game, or am I going crazy?

Leaderboards are in the service record now
Just beat normal 3vE with Pav, Serina and Anders. Anders’ seige turrets will basically hold all ground units still, as they struggle with the sentinels. Serina couldve easily been replaced with another Anders but the combo was still nice. Pavium has brilliant LPs for assisting others when they need it, his m-turrets are incredible and his hero is a beast. And yet he could be replaced with Anders too (theres a theme here).
We had seige turrets on all turret spots, a handfull of kodiaks an blisterbacks and 20+ AA tanks each. Nightingales can hide the entire terminus in an emergency, which was crucial at times. As Pavium i had 4 m-turrets by the end, three on my base and 1 on the first mini base. Then we used mines to keep the outlying mini-bases visible so we could all boost our pop to 150+. Ground units never posed an issue, the artillery handled everything, only heavy air made a dent (a big dent).

You can cloak the terminus? That completely counters the direct air wave… there’s hope after all…

I’m seeing a lot of complaining about reavers focusing fire in pop but it sounds like that would actually be a big plus against the heavy air waves. Did you notice if they were handling thing so better than the wolverines?
Did you ever try to hold the outer bases or just grab them for pop when they were on separate paths?
