So I was thinking about the meaning of Terminal. Terminal “Of, forming, or situated at the end or extremity of something”. That got me thinking. The end to what. Then I remembered about the Terminal in Halo 3 where Bias talks to Master Chief. And then I thought the terminals could be telling the story of the end of the forerunners and/or precusors. Then there are new terminals in CEA. These could be telling us more about this “ending”. So can anyone support my idea or share their idea on terminals and their true meaning.
I guess it’s possible. I still think it’s more likely that it’s just because they are like computer terminals.
Um, you could be right, but I’m doubtful. I’m pretty sure they just called them “Terminals” as in “computer terminal”. And, actually, the Terminals appear to be terminals in the technical sense too. That is, they are I/O devices attached to a larger system or network and used primarily for I/O for that larger system.
