Do you guys think we’ll get some super sick terminals during Halo Infinite like we did for CE and H2A?
Personally my favorite parts of the remasters were the awesome elaborations on previous lore, alongside the improved graphics which made the games look even more like movies than ever before. It would be exciting to get even more terminals so we can uncover the truth of the universe ourselves through searching.
I hope terminals return, I’m quite fond of them.
I’d love terminals in this capacity. I’d also love legendary only terminals, or at least data pads like in Reach.
I would love to see the terminals coming back in the upcoming Halo Infinite. I really like the terminals in Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary and Halo 2 Anniversary.

I used to be against the idea of having Legendary-only terminals. But now that I’m working through nabbing up all the terminals, skulls, dolls, etc. in the MCC, I feel a great deal of satisfaction when I nab an achievement that’s only available on Legendary.
Given how there are talks about Infinite having large level layouts, the inclusion of terminals could be a welcome addition, especially given the apparent location of the setting. Zeta Halo could reveal a lot of secrets about Mendicant Bias and (my own theory) a connection or parallel between him and Cortana.
Personally I love all the terminals. They added a great factor into exploring the levels, even past the point where the game directed you. Infinite is supposedly going to have large campaign layouts, so I would hope they include some kind of lore object for players to find
I’m not sure if they will be called terminals but we will definitely get some sort of lore exploration that is not part of the main missions/story!
Interestingly, the Sequence Group (who animated the CEA, Halo 4, H2A, & Fall of Reach animated) liked the tweet of the Banished teaser here. I don’t think they’d just like it out of the blue. Here’s hoping they are doing the terminals, and I think this is proof. With this likely being set on Zeta Halo, I think they should really show the Primordial and Mendicant Bias, as well as Faber performing experiments for a cure to the Flood on primitive Humans.
Considering how much history Installation 07 has, it would be a serious injustice to not have terminals. I hope at least one features the Primordial. That would be pretty nice. Intel in Halo 5 was nice but they didn’t have the same charm that terminals had in past titles.
I’d expect some sort of terminals in the game, simply due to the game being set on Zeta Halo, with that location having such a rich history it would be a waste to not explore it through terminals, I’d also like some smaller intel, like audio logs or datapads exploring the war on Zeta Halo between the UNSC and the Banished or Created
