Terminals still won't play in the Halo channel

Sorry to be the newest person to drag this topic up but, seriously? Nearly a year down the line and we still can’t simply find a terminal in any of the halo games and have it play properly through the halo channel. Which is terrible by the way. Its so slow and laggy. Hate to complain and be so negative but this is ridiculous. Halo 5s out next month. Come then this game will just fall by the wayside. And its a shame as it could have really been much better had the countless bugs not been present.

Has anyone found solutions to get the videos to play. Linking through the extras menu doesn’t help either.

I’m playing through the games in local co-op for the second time, and in Halo 2 the videos won’t load the first time I access a terminal - I’ll get the Halo Channel opening up with a ‘Welcome DarkPenfold’ message, and the achievement will pop, but then it goes to a black screen with no loading symbol.
I’ve found that backing up to the dashboard, switching back to the MCC, then unpausing the game and accessing the terminal a second time will play the video (Halo Channel opens up without the ‘Welcome’ message, black screen comes up, but this time the loading / streaming circle will appear).

Same fkng problem. First in the game, i had to open the terminal, close it, shoot arround, get back and it worked. But now nothing happens… black screen.
Damn I want to know it before Halo 5 comes out!
