I have been having an issue where terminals I have watched do not show up as having been found. because the Halo channel an outside the game application did not recognize me signing in when taken there via the game.
This is is not the only one I have with the Halo Channel. The other and far more pressing one is the loop it seems to get stuck in constantly replaying the same map video for ascension over and over and over again instead of the queue that was set-up. I can only assume that the channel for some reason loses who is logged in and defaults when glitched.
in addition when using the application via windows 8.1 there is again the issue of the repeated video start-up of the map breakdown video. ignoring the user created queue.
Perhaps you at 343 should concentrate more on quality of products produced instead of the timing of when they are released. I have a thought you all might wish to think upon. There is a growing community inside of gamers that no longer care for timely releases.
We care more for whether or not something completely works and delivers what is promised without glitches, without issues or bugs. We are not willing to continue sending good money after bad for content that does not deliver as promised. Having two side by side launches of products and forcing us to use both is ot only asinine but incorrigible. The terminals should not be linked to content outside of the game programming as the Halo channel has it’s own issues. Mainly not recognizing when a user is logged in from the game and therefor in game content does not unlock when a user is transported back and forth between the two. So all game related content should have been in the game information that took 6 plus hours to download not in a outside application that some users may not have wished to ever use.
Though we are far more likely to forgive if you are willing to release information such as you acknowledge your mistakes and are actively working on them. Communication with your fans and customers is far above what we have come to expect from the gaming community at large and would go a long way toward creating a better relationship with us.
