At the end of The Maw terminal I got done watching, 343 says that he would want a company of Prometheans around. He goes on saying that without the Librarian around to tamper his rage, we might prefer the Flood. OH -Yoink-, and at the end, it shows The Didact’s emblem! this might mean that its The Didact :O!

If you’re going to include spoilers, please change your title saying that it shows spoilers, please. I’ve seen all of the Terminals, but I don’t want other people’s experience to be spoiled.

Sorry bro, your right man, my bad people sorry.
He’s not called “The Didact” anymore. “The Didact” is technically dead, but he’s been reborn. He’s called “The Bornstellar” now, but they’re pretty the same person. Personality wise anyway.

The Didact does live through Born though, after he transferred his memories,he pretty much became the Didact. The fact that he had feelings for the Librarian as stated in the H3 Terminals suggest that Didacts personality and feelings also transferred over to Born, while Born still remained Born,he was technically the new Didact.
Now this is the sort of storyline I’m interested in.
This is making me wonder, what is going to happen in Greg Bear’s next two books that is going to make the humans prefer the flood to him.
You should change the the title of the thread, saying there is spoilers than have something from the spoiler in the title is a bit…counter productive, eh?
I’m super excited for Halo 4 now, -Yoink- just got real man.
Nothin’ Chief can’t handle though.
Can’t wait to see what happens in Primordium that makes the Didact someone who will attack the Humans. I mean, humanity did what they could. Not very elegant, but they destroyed the Flood that threatened to destroy them, just like the Forerunners had intended to do.
Based on current knowledge, I am not a fan of Didact being a villain. First off, he seemed pretty regretful towards his war with us after he learned the truth. Second, he’s from the race that made us their Inheritors. It makes no sense for the Forerunners to attack us again. Third, he is not Evil as the description for H4 implies, and by Precursor standards he isn’t even Ancient. He also has no power to threaten the fate of the entire universe–all of that applies to the Primordial, however. Everything we know currently points to him not being the villain in fact, except for the musing of a Monitor who is pissed he just had is life explode before his eye.
I personally think Spark was hinting that Didact will be in H4 and may have some lingering animosity towards us. But he simply can’t be the main villain, based on what we know.
