Is it just me when i find a terminal, load up halo channel and it loads for a couple of seconds then takes me back to the game? It just makes a random chime like it cannot do it. The first terminal worked fine for halo ce, the subsequent terminals did’nt. Its the same with all the other halo’s, no terminals work in halo channel. Nothing is unlocking in halo channel, watching a video you’re meant to get rewarded, well not me. I hope this gets seen and fixed, i hope I’m not the only one with this problem. Any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
I have the same problem but even the first terminal does this, it then crashed the game and had to start the mission again, hopefully will be updated soon
I do not have this problem, the terminal video loads up fine. However, I found a terminal in Halo:CE Anniversary but I didn’t get the achievement 
Can confirm this as well.
Any Terminal in Halo CE when accessed using ‘X’ effectively tries to loads up the Halo Channel and resets back to the game after 4-5 seconds.
If you have your console running through some kind of external recorder, like an Elgato, it will trigger the HDCP on videos played through the Halo Channel (the same way it does with Bluray discs) and you will be unable to watch them. They are still unlocked, you just can’t watch them. If you connect the console directly to the television they will work.
Having said that, it wouldn’t surprise me at this point if it was a glitch preventing them from playing for some people.
I’m plugged in directly to a TV, no external recorder or USB storage - Same problem.
When you say they are unlocked, do you mean we can see the terminal video by pausing the game, going to extras and watching via there?

Yes Same for me this has happened three times now and i just realized every time it has happened i don’t get the achievement to pop either. would appreciate a fix so i don’t have to delete files and start over.
I just get a black screen when I try and view a terminal. The Achievement will pop up, but the screen will stay static for ages until I force close it, through the Xbox dashboard. Having a separate app to view these terminals feels kinda clunky imo.
I can load the video from the terminal, but when I return to the game it is frozen and I have to quit…losing all my current progress in the mission. 
This happens to me as well, I’ll activate the Terminal, it won’t unlock in Halo Channel and it immediately boots me back to the game. I’ll exit out of the game and load up Halo Channel and it won’t be unlocked, so I can’t watch any of the terminals. Why couldn’t these have been on disc instead of through this app? I’d like to be able to watch them.
Same. All terminals I found up to the Sacred Icon level in H2 worked fine but this one does not play. Starts loading the Halo Channel then goes back to the game after displaying the little circle loading icon.
Same thing is happening to me. i tried quitting the app in hopes that it would restart the app and work but now the app is just blinking this black box all over the screen. this has been happening ever since the first terminal i hope they fix it.
Only one terminal for me has crashed my game but I got the achievement for it, it was the one on Keyes mission, but all the others for ce have let me watch them.
Even till this day that bug is still a thing and I’m irritated that I can’t play the game normally, I understand that putting a side video in for people to understand the story and origins of it but at least give us the option not to have it on or at least have fixed it properly? It’s so annoying like come on guys
