Terminal achievement issue?

So I have just got the first terminal on The Ark and it’s been 10 minutes now and still the achievement hasn’t unlocked,

EDIT: Just got the second terminal and again no achievement.

Are they any known issues?

Are you offline or online while playing? If your online then try resetting your cache data.

Sign out and remove the account off your Xbox then unplug your Xbox for 3 mins. Next plug it back in and sign back in. This might fix your problem.

Edit*This is how you remove your account if you having trouble finding the option. Settings/Account/Remove accounts

Are you going into the Halo Channel App to play the cutscenes? If not, then your not getting the achievement.

Are you waiting for the terminal to lock you out and move you to a different menu? You have to wait about 15 seconds in the terminal before it gives you the achievement

This what you need to do OP. You have to wait for it to fully kick you out. I had to learn the hard way.

Ah no I didn’t wait for that long, I was smashing A to skip tot the end and then leaving it
