this is how i shall salute halo on her anniversary.
played halo for the first time about a year ago.
i got an xbox and reach, 3, and odst in january.
i joined xlive in july.
i joined waypiont in august.
in this short amount of time i now realize how much time i wish i had been with this community.
this is truly the greatest gaming community in the history of gaming.
this community is ten years strong.
no other video game thats been aroud that long is still that strong.
i salute halo and this community.
im sure she has ten more years in her.
Your entry into the Halo Universe is pretty much the same as mine. Maybe a year before Reach was out me and my cousin would play Halo CE, but neither of us was really into it. Then, during thanksgiving last year, while up at my cousins house, we played Reach. We played it all night long. Went to sleep for a few hours, then played it again. I loved it. So, a few weeks later, I got Reach for myself. Then I got into the story. During September, that year, I was shopping, and went into gamestop. My eyes fell upon Halo Wars. Christmas went by and I was begging to goto gamestop again. My dad instead decided to go to Best Buy. As usual, I “wandered” into the game section, and to my surpries, I found Halo 3: ODST. After that, I researched the series, and “borrowed” my cousin’s Halo CE. A while after that, I stumbled upon Best Buy again. I went to the game section, turned a corner, and found what would complete my collection. Halo 2, and not far away from it, Halo 3. Of course, I got them. After a few months, for my birthday (which was in September) I got Live. In less than a year, I’m in love with the universe known as Halo.
I’m having a party on Anniversary launch day. Friends are bringing round their consoles and TVs gonna hook it all up and do system link just like in the old days. Pizza, beer & Halo the real golden tripod.

im having friends over the friday after it comes out (i pre-ordered and have same day dilivery) and well try to play through the whole campagn. starting with reach then cea then 2 and well stop at metrpolis and start odst then finish 2 then 3 then we watch halo 4 trailer. this should be the best day ever.

This reminds me of when I first played CE, I some how went into the ceiling. Sooner or later in my life I found out that the the thing I did is used in speed runs. Now that was ten years ago.
