What does temporarily exactly mean?
i know i got what i deserved but how much time is temporarily
i did boost only for 5 games that is it but how much time will i have
for this so called “banning” system of yours?

Take a day off and see if it isn’t gone by then. Also, don’t boost. There are legitimate ways of doing absolutely everything. You don’t need to hurry through the game, it wont actually get you anything special.

He is right to give you a hard time. Boosting is just about the ugliest thing you can do in Halo. It is bad enough you got XP locked.
So I don’t think you have any business getting snappy when he pokes fun. You leave yourself open for that kind of ridicule when you make the choice to try to cheat the system.

Boosting the biggest failure of noobs.
I have no idea what the details of “boosting” is, but I’m assuming it is just getting a bunch of xp in a short amount of time but in a way that is against the rules.
Why do something against the rules when you can just hit xp cap in an hour, doing spartan ops?
basically using means that are against the rules to speed up the process of certain actions
for instane having a guest you and your friend simply assasinate them over and over this boosting the assasinations commendation
sitting in a game not actually playing simply so you get xp at the end boosting your level
Rule 1: Don’t boost. EVER. Halo has one of the most sophisticated anti-boosting/cheating systems I’ve seen. It just isn’t worth it. You get a ton of XP for playing, regardless of whether or not you do well.
That being said, I’ll let everyone in on a little secret for the best method to boost without getting caught. Drink Mountain Dew and eat Doritos.

Hey OP you admitted to boosting. Boosting will always get you xp/cr banned for a short time. My advice is DON’T do it.

So you think if someone pays $100s for a game, then boosts to get an armor set which takes prob 30 mins. they shouldnt be allowed to play the game they bought online ever again? lol wow.
Also there was a boost in reach, Oni sword base? no bans were ever thrown out for that, which was actually a way to boost Cr.? Halo 4 has a xp limit anyway so not like anyone can get ahead of anyone

The rules are there, and you agree to follow them. It’s not anyone’s fault but your own for not knowing and following them.

In order to come to the idea of boosting, a person has to first realize that they are looking for a way to beat the system. I refuse to ever believe someone could think that boosting wasn’t cheating the game.
