My son and I are playing the game and we are beginers and are learning as we go, but for some reason we have been temporarily banned from earning points. We do not do use any in appropriate language, we are just trying to learn how to play, I have noticed today through web searches that it is not a good thing to get up and go to the restroom, or take care of a family need while playing. This has not been intionally can you please remove the ban imediatly so my son and I can play. Once again we will follow all rules, but some of this information we are learning as we go, we will do are best to stay active.
Please contact me, I love my son and our bonding time, can you please change this ASAP my son is very dissapointed and I want to spent time with him.

But really, credits mean absolutely nothing.
But earning zero kills habitually will eventually result in a credit ban. This game is probably not age appropriate for your son sir. In the U.S. it is rated M (17+)
If you insist on continuing to allow him to play, suggest you keep him to firefight, campaign and custom games till he has basic competency with the controls and can campaign/ firefight under normal difficulty without assistance.
Either way, no one is going to go check every ones home to see if its a little kid playing or a 17+ player. Please understand you are putting your child in a room with older folk that more or less have a very lenient system.
No matter how many times he dies… As I understand he just needs to earn a single kill per game. But earning zero kills result in rewards not being given (rank and armor is all credits give you, no in game advantage )

The credit ban only stops you from earning credits, you can still play… You have not been banned from the game
Thank you for the information, but I would like to know why and how I got banned from being able to earn credits. Someone made the decision to put the temp ban in place I would like to know how this works and when will it be removed. I paid money for the game and cannot get 100% out of it because of someone placing this ban. Who runs the company or who makes these decisions. THanks once again for your info and help it is great appreciated, I am very frustrated.

But basically, it is an automated system. It logged transgressions and after several flags were raised a 24 hour credit ban is usually issued. Repeat offenses often result in longer bans.
The ban will be not be lifted untill after the allotted time. Main three reasons

it’s an automated system designed by Bungie… And they are no longer working with Microsoft on Halo related issues.

It’s only a temporary thing and doesn’t stop you from playing the game.

credits are the currency that buys armor and builds your rank… 0 kills will not be rewarded with new armor and rank promotions. If credits are desired, then the minimum effort/ skill to required is 1 singular kill per game.
