Which variant of the covenant vehicle do you think is better?
Ghost - Ultra
Wraith - Temple
Banshee - Ultra
Ultras are awesome when you want to dish out a lot of damage, but the Temples are more agile, and are excellent pursuit vehicles as you can run and shoot at the same time.
It’s all personal preference, but the current situation at hand can also be a factor.
I like the Ultra.
Ultra’s are powerful vehicles, which is what I tend to use the most tbh.
The Ultra variants have better power and armor.
But the Temple variants have better manuvering, faster cool down and can shoot while boosting.
I’m for the Ultra’s.
Depending on what I want to do, I’ll go with either. Temple vehicles are my go-to if the enemy needs vehicles taken out of the sky. The Temple Banshee’s ability to fire while boosting is a pretty nice advantage when engaging in air-to-air combat. Ultras… now, Ultras are great for just dishing out pain. Have a base or point locked down? Whip out an Ultra to keep it that way. Want to rack up some kills? Pull out an Ultra and go nuts.
Ultra because the rounds have a higher blast radius and my aim is not always the best.
Temple vehicles don’t always seem to have a really good amount of armour, but i guess when i do see a temple wraith -for example- that could be because the vehicle is already damaged when i fire two lasers into a wraith.
Ultra, every stinkin time.
I prefer ultra due to extra fire power, but in customs the temple add more ideas for games and things. I prefer the ultra ghost because high firepower and I really don’t need to shoot while boosting because if I’m boosting, chances are either I’m trying to run away and don’t want to draw attention or I’m trying to run someone or something over and shooting gives away my intention or takes away by concentration of aiming for the splatter. On a Banshee it the temple makes sense for chasing but the real damage is always the heavy shot that the Ultra has in spades which is also very effective for attacking ground unit groups as it is destroying other vehicles. The temple wraith is shiny but Ultra Wraith has area and ricochet that makes getting enemies in small places very desirable. Now the Hannibal versus Oni is a better question to ponder but thats for another forum.
I like them all except the useless wraith ultra
Temple for the Banshee and Ghost because I always considered them fast attack vehicles which the Temple variants fulfill. I like the Wraith Ultra because the Wraith is a slow tank so giving it extra firepower seems more appropriate than having slightly increased mobility.
Temple and Ultra have the same armour. Main difference is all Temple have 60% fire rate some form of boost to well boost.
Ultras have different projectiles that have an emphasis on AOE effect. Banshee Ultra is an outlier and completely broken as it has a 100% boost to reload and speed as well as stronger homing on fuel rod bomb.
While Wraith Ultra isn’t really an upgrade where the initial plasma mortar detonation doesn’t properly do damage tk infantry.
I prefer the ultras. However, when I was trying to get the splatter commendation I used the temple vehicles because they are much easier to control.
