Trust me, its just great!
The reason why Halo 2 was amazing was it’s campaign and multiplayer.
The Campaign was massive! Bigger than any other Halo campaign still to date if I’m not mistaken. And it was fun! You always got that “30 seconds of fun” over and over again making it addicting to play. There were also different ways to play it besides running and gunning. The story telling to it was also amazing! I’d say the best story telling of any game for the xbox original (besides Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic). It was smooth, fun, addicting, and always had you at the edge of your seat not only with the good amount of enemies, but also the amazing scenery! Oh God it was a beautiful game as well! The graphics for the time were good as well, making the game a 10/10 in my opinion!
The multiplayer was revolutionary. You finally got a multiplayer that was playable with Halo 2. It was a challenge as well as not too over bearing. The ranking system actually relied on skill and not just leveling up with how many games you did. If you won a game, you gained XP, if you lost, you lost XP, making for a very competitive game as you always wanted to rank up and actually win. Back then, rank mattered, if the guy was a high rank, you looked out! And that’s just awesome!
Any way, that’s why I think Halo 2 was amazing.
