Halo Infinite wonāt launch despite all of the remedies, reinstalling, verifying, and restarting I have done.
try connecting to a vpn before launching infinite then try any matchmaking again and the āno ping to our datacentres blablaā should disappear then after that disconnect from vpn or keep playing using vpn. if you disconnect from your vpn the game will tell you that you lost your internet connection and will try to reconnect which youāll have to wait until it finished reconnecting eitherway after that the matchmaking should be available. this worked for me during the tech previews and now it works too. hope it works for you too
Go to the settings and select an Audio Language. Reset game and have fun.
@TheAIone0ne I have a screen shot of a ranked match summary. the ranking system needs to be patched. I now know why im not gaining rank when i feel like i should have. =)
sidenote: the placement matches had crashes, which resulted me in placing lower ranking then possible potentials. i have a screen shot of the end resultā¦in the top right corner, the game counter summary has me on the loosing teamā¦ PC/steam/i do have xbl game pass account. maybe you can DM on my xbl gamepass for the SS? the name is the same with spaces, not underscores.
I have this same issue. Everything is washed out and a gray tint. Seems like the game is forcing HDR even though itās disabled in Windows 10. Iāve noticed this happen in other games but those games provide a setting to disable HDR.
HDR in general is broken in Windows which is why I never use it. Iām not sure how Halo Infinite is circumventing the Windows HDR setting.
Only workaround Iāve been able to find is to disable boarderless fullscreen but even then it still looks absolutely terrible.
Iām having the same issue. On my 1366x768 monitor, the bottom of the menus and HUD are cut off as well.
Thereās an Audio bug for Wireless Headphones. The quality overall that streaming to the headset regardless of audio media playing when Halo: Infinite is running. The Audio quality becomes worse and super distorted.
Same here. Iām also suffering from performance issues even though I have an RTX 3070. Even if it is a Mobile version it performs as an RTX 2070 or RTX 3060Ti Desktop card. I canāt run the game on Ultra either I get like sub 60 frames which is annoying. This is not even at 4K.

I have a rather strange problem with my copy of Infinite. It just wont save any settings. Everytime I relaunch the game all my settings (except my control settings) are reset to their default values. After some digging in the files on a friends PC I found out that all settings except controls are saved in: C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\HaloInfinite\Settings\SpecControlSettings.json
only problem with this fact is my folder under the same link is completely empty. I tried supplying a .json file from a friend with similar specs to mine

but there was no change. Trying to change the settings in the game again didnt result in an updated version of said file.
Iām kinda losing my mind over this, because i just canāt figure this out.
