the MLG matchmaking is horrible atm… i really enjoy the gametypes but i keep running into teams of 4 ( i always play alone) and i party up with 3 randomers so its 4 communicating people vs 4 strangers that dont even have mics … well i guess you can guess what the result is usually haha.
it should be changed to how arena works, where teams of 1-2 get matched up with other teams of 1-2 against teams of 1-2 and teams of 3-4 against 3-4:P i guess you know what i mean. that way it would be possible to play MLG by yourself without running into well organized teams
This feature should be by default in every playlist that has teams of at least four. Don’t allow small parties or randoms to match big parties, it gives better gameplay experience for everyone.
this game doesnt need huge changes, just some simple minor ones like the matchmaking system. there is nothing more annoying than running into a big team and getting destroyed. this and bloom and the game is good. but i dont think well see this ever happen…
I feel your pain. I always search in MLG alone and get destoyed by teams of 4. Then one of my teammates will quit 30 seconds in and the game is ruined.

If I remember correctly, it was MLG themselves that asked for this. They wanted to ensure search times were kept to a minimum. It’s still completely stupid though. I don’t play MLG (not good enough), but I do play solo in most playlists and can’t stand the way ‘matchmaking’ is set up to find the quickest match, rather than the best match. I’d rather wait and have a fair/balanced/close game than get an instant match where I trash or get trashed.
