So, recently I’ve noticed more aggressive players in Firefight that are intentionally hitting their teammates with vehicles, especially in Mythic Firefight where you don’t get your shields back much after Round 1. Is this just a sign of the declining population, or are people just so bad at Mythic Firefight that they need to kill their teammates in order to get a few kills?
Only thing you can do is report them and I think blocking still works in Firefight so I’d block them as well.
U are wrong, people used to kill you with vehicles more when ff came out. Now is less common xD.
I remember one dude killed me (I mean he let me one shot) with his helios 4 times in one match, I still kick his -Yoink- so bad in arena, so I don’t care xD
I play heroic firefight and its quite common to have people driving vehicles into buildings constantly killing or leaving players with a few pixels of health left. Nothing worse than getting bumped by a vehicles in round 1 then getting 1 shot by a crawler. I cant even get that as credit on the other player because it was the npc that got the kill shot
A simple solution would be to have players immune to getting killed by player vehicles yet getting hit by a player vehicles merely nudges the on foot player aside with no additional speed meaning a vehicle player cannot ram players off the map unless the player is legit afk and the map has a ledge they can be bumped off. This prevents players from sitting in front of a vehicle and blocking its movement.
The best thing you can do is to play accompanied, at least with a friend. That way if someone betrays you, your friend can somehow trick him into being expelled. I have achieved it sometimes against players who collide your vehicles with phaetons or wraiths (We have obtained two “free” helios).
Another strategy I use is to block those who betrayed me, that way I have the block list and if I see them I betray them or destroy their vehicles. You will see how they don’t want to continue doing it.
By the way, there are several of those players around here, at least I can remember 3.
