Teammates Leaving Punishes Remaining Players.

Leaving teammates should not cost as a lost to people remaining when it’s 2v4, either that or your skill should not be affected if you lose or win, seriously.

also rip torque it’s ruined.

Everything sounds good on paper, but this method of running the ranking system could easily be exploited. I do agree that a 2v4 sucks and something should be done about it, but the problem should be dealt with in a more subtle manner.

It should count as a loss but it should let you quit without being banned.

I don’t mind it being count as a loss but should have no effect on rank, and if you leave you shouldn’t get punished.

Ranks dont matter that much when bronze players can’t get good if they somehow always get matched with way higher ranks

But it’s just that, if rank isn’t affected then it is very exploitable.

I’d be more for a forfeit option if you’re down a few players and the score is very uneven in favour of your opponents.

Ive been seeing a lot more people quit. I just don’t think the team that is left short should be punished… But currently we are. I just don’t think it should go against your rank. Being double teamed or triple teamed in a game like that is really impossible to counter.

2v4 isn’t that bad of a game, just step up the game and grab them weapons.
Now unless you include the current score with other team having a major lead…yeah

I have noticed if I lose after a team mate has quit out i seem to lose a lot of rank. I don’t think rank should go down if you lose with less players or should only go down very slightly but if you win you should increase like half a rank.

But, that’s typically when your team mates would leave. It’s that way any PvP game. Is join in progress a thing in Halo 5?..

2v4 map control seems very hard.

I have done it before with a friend but its hard, 1 player trying to counter more than 2 spartans with basic weapons? And if the chance is, which is high, that the 4 player team gets the power weapons because they all rush one, then what are the 2 players to do?

people quit on me all the time sometimes i quit too and take the ban.

So I’ve reached Plat6, best I’ve ever done. Won 2 games, know that I’m so close to getting into Diamond. Then 3rd game, CTF on Coliseum, I’ve got an AFK and another player quits after a couple of minutes. FML

I hate that not only do leavers doom their team, but it often waste valuable boost cards that players have earned & that is also unacceptable. The req packs go for money, real world money, & players can be screwed out of them. If anything, I want to see harsher penalties for leavers. & I’m a dad with 3 kids, the youngest not even a year & a half old, so no, there’s not much excuse beyond an emergency., PLAN your goddam playtime.

I also want something done about the rank people lose when teammates quit. Winning short handed is very rare

People that leave should be denoted to bronze
Or have a leaver put on there emblem for hours so people csn abuse them haha

I hate people that leave as much as anyone, but (and it has happen to me earlier this year) what about when you lose internet connection or have a power cut ?

I think loosing connection is few a far between these days. Quitting is a plague these days since the punishments are so lacklustre, this makes it extremely easy to leave a game.

It shouldn’t be a problem if you quit a game for whatever reason every once in a while, but if you quit a bunch of games in a day or a few games in a row, it’s pretty easy to see that you’re idling or rage quitting or whatever.

I agree that frequent quitting should punish players more, but there isn’t much they can do besides ban online play.

My first game yesterday, half way through lost connection. The point I was trying to make (and failed badly) was how will the makers know who leaves for a “poor” reason and who because the internet/power goes down? Or are we just saying anyone who doen’st finish a game gets banned?

I think it would be impossible to distinguish the 2. Quitting or loosing connection. Either way, I hope Infinite has far stricter quit penalties in place. Or a ranking/progression system that is tied into quitting with a lot harsher penalty. H3 system comes to mind.
