I know that it is a brand new play list. People are learning weapon spawns, having to learn new map flow, and CSR hasn’t settled out yet. but HOLY CRAP!
People have forgotten how to play the game. Other team is sticking together in the middle of Haven with a couple of BRs? “CHARGE WITH YOUR AR!” “No, Jim! No!” Get yourself a precision weapon, a magnum, ANYTHING! Wait for them to come to you…
And if you do wait for them to come to you and I’m standing by to help you once you pull them around the corner… DON’T RUN OVER AND STAND DIRECTLY ON TOP OF ME!
Just because you can friendly fire doesn’t mean you should… be careful with your damn grenades.
I am so happy with the playlist, cause it already feels Halo to me, but I can’t get a game where two of my teammates aren’t complete nincompoops or isn’t on Haven.
Already can tell the next bulletin will say they lowered the weighting on Haven. Hopefully CSR will settle out soon.
This is new playlist and csr haven’t yet separated noobs from casuals from pros etc.
My first match was that my team of tough guys literally destroyed other team and match ended when entire team left. With next matches it varied from being raped by some pros to hunting for noobs. I must admit I too almost forgot how is it to meet a real noob in Halo 4. It kind of rebuilded my self-esteem.

The difference is, map movement is important to your armament now. You have to rely on your teammates to at least keep the other team occupied so you can pick up a weapon or two. Failing that, a little team shooting goes a LONG way.
I know CSR hasn’t settled out yet, but there is also an element of the more than terrible players having forgotten that team slayer always forced a little more of a conservative play style than infinity.
And yup. That self esteem boost is nice. Just comes with a nice dose of “I WAS STATIONARY FOR A REASON! WHY DID YOU RUN OVER AND MOVE AROUND RIGHT NEXT TO ME?!?!?!?”
