Can we have a way of swapping weapons with teammates in Matchmaking? For example, “Hold X to swap weapons with teammate.” This would be really handy. My friends love to snipe so I usually give them the sniper, but if there’s not a weapon around for me to pick up, I can’t.

just a thought, it could show up in the corner as pick weapon does, when someone offers a swap it says in the corner swap with player x just how it does with pick up weapon.
Yes! I always switch weapons with my friends if I know they can do better with the weapon.

I agree. It’d be really hand.
Let’s say it’s you and a friend. It’s BTB Slayer. Your friend prefers to use the Assault Rifle, but you like the Battle Rifle. He’s out of ammo and you’re pinned down. What do you do? (Run and armor lock like mad. jk)You hand him the assault rifle, while you still have the battle rifle.
It’s win win.

i meant the whores who betray for power weapons
Yes, it would be a useful feature.
I had many situations where my friends wanted to give me the sniper but had to find a different weapon first which wasn’t always easy.

Sure, as long as weapons can only be given, and you can’t take a weapon from a teammate.
I would love this, every time I swap weapons in campaign I would always wonder "huhh how awesome would it be if we could do this in multiplayer " IMO it could help promote team-work.

the D-pad? it rarely gets used and Im sure it has 1 button spare

while looking at the a player, hold (X) to swap weapons, isn’t hard to fit in and the game already has the stuff needed to work, it can show players usernames when you look at them, use this to activate the swap feature in close range.
It needs to happen,I’ll pick up a sniper for a mate to use only to then have to find a weapon on the floor to swap it with.
They should just make it as "Hold Action/Reload’ to swap, come on 343, it’s just a little thing, Please?

perhaps
“X” is currently one of those buttons 343 is experiementing with to make sprint more viable.

(X) has commonly been action/reload in reach which is why i used it… of course it would depend on you’re controle scheme but the principle is the same.
